So I got up this morning and found Jeffrey's apology. I never thought this would happen, but I am impressed that it did. That said, I have some thoughts:

The reason I placed you on ignore in the first place had little to do with the fact that you have, for months, directed insulting and false accusations toward me and others in this and other threads. It was based more on your inability to discuss, in a meaningful way, what others were discussing.

I don't think citing passages of whatever book you may have read is valid or worthy of my attention. I observed that you failed, most of the time, to say anything about what you think these things you cited shoud mean--to you. It's one thing to say, "I feel this way after reading this information because . . ."; but it's quite another thing to simply cite a passage and expect others to come to the same conclusion as you.

Why should anyone, with different life experiences than yours, come to the same conclusions as you? People disagree with me all the time, and that's OK. As long as disagreement comes from thoughtful analysis rather than from blindly following someone else's thoughts, it is perfectly fine that people come to different conclusions. Often, there is more than one solution.

I enjoy taking part in the many discussions here regarding religion, politics, or any of the fun topics (even though I avoid certain threads). But I have no patience for disruptive or non-productive posters. I'm taking you off ignore, but whether I respond to you is up to you.

I thought, in light of your apology, that you could take some criticism. Apparently I am wrong. So, at your request, you are once again plonked. And to my friends who sometimes quote Jeffrey, please don't do so for my benefit.

The only thing I can think of that you should apologize for is your arrogant belief that the world (especially these forums) should revolve around you, your beliefs, and your opinions...

That's what the FILTER is for... So stop COMPLAINING and start using it... ;)

Tom, it's probably best to refer to the other threads made by him. These exist in the science forums as well as here. Logic is required to understand their fruitlessness but emotions and his Koran based understanding of the world is impervious to outside criticism.

If you look through past threads you will see that I'm not here attacking anyone, nor attacking anyones god or gods or religion or beliefs, nor am I preaching to anyone about my God... With that said, the Bible and the Qur'an have no contradictions (this might be debatable by some), so any text that comes along contradicting the Holy Books in any way shape or form will be disregarded and considered by me to be nothing more than the 'doctrines of demons' we were warned about... ;)
