??? but the fourth result does get awarded credit - always - provided it's returned before deadline and without errors.

Try a two or three day cache as a happy medium!

Well I can assure it did happen under Seti classic, but to be honest it hasnt happened under enhanced yet.

Classic gave credit no matter what -- there was no check for validity.

If you return valid work before deadline, you'll get credit. If a quorum of 3 forms before you return work, you'll get the same credit they got.

If you're a little late, but no quorum has formed, you'll still get credit.

After that, you'd have to be really lucky (like transitioners down for an extended period).

The Cricket graphs show a much less stable outgoing bit rate for the last few hours than normal, with irregular swings of increasing magnitude (the most recent low point is under 20% of normal at this writing).

It seems likely something is up (or down as the case may be).

It was certainly choppy for a while there, but it's been good since then.

You mean the big white screen? It was working normally earlier. :-)

Either that or it's become classified information now! ;-)

Yeah I noticed the WSOD(White Screen Of Death) on the server status page too, I thought for a second that My browser was damaged, Then I opened IE on to the page, White there too, So I'm stumped on this one, Maybe a script for the stats display was deleted by accident.

The most common cause of WSOD on a PHP page is that a character is missing from the PHP script. That's all. No doubt someone who looks after that will notice or someone who knows people in the know can alert them.

A very noisy tape? I've had five in a row from 27se00 which overflowed after about 5 seconds.

Nope!

Read the Tech News. They're doing more work to move onto the new databases.
