Yep.
Looks like it just started in last ten minutes or so.
I have two machines that can not upload.
Seeing an error I have not had before.
Error 403

No clue yet what that is all about.
But it is a quick rejection.

I've got a 403 also, Wiki seems to indicate on up/down loads its a server problem.

That appears to be one of those LibCurl error messages.

4.5.3 "403 Forbidden"
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.

All the servers appear to be running OK.
All IP/URL respond to pings, etc.
The Cricket graphs only showed a small drop in upload traffic about the time this started. But that does not mean much. It could just be rejecting everything sent in.

Looks like a long morning until someone tickles the server.
Maybe the IFC bit got set.

Just got to my smallholding and find problems U'Ling WU results.

Clearly this is still continuing, but luckily I checked in to this thread before sounding off!!

I can see I am not alone with the problem, and the Cogent graphs and Server Status (@ 12.30 pm) show everything running) OK.

I would, like Jack, say the rejection is very quick, and the BOINC Manager
"messages" tab is reporting the same 403 error code quoted here, and connection attempt is "backing off xx minutes".

I am also having this problem. I wonder if this is another de-peering incedent with Cogent??? I tried a couple of proxy servers, but to no avail.

Regards, Daniel.

Posted earlier so this adds nothing to that earlier post, but (a thought) ...

I am assuming this will continue until the team comes in later today (for us). As an assistance I've "suspended network activity" on my SETI smallholding.

I'm getting the 403 error too. I was think it was my end at first, but it can't be if we're all getting the error. I just hope they get it fixed soon.

Same here downloads but no upoloads, was begining to worry but seen as we're all having the prob they'll sort it out soon. (I hope I got a string of work units as long as my arm to submit!) + Imagine the backlog when they fix it, the server may melt!

There is some problem, few of my results got through and got validation errors.
So I would suggest you all suspend network activity until they sort this problem out.
