This is very strange, 4 hours ago I agreed to install last security patches on my WinXP, rebooted, and from then, the work unit is 4 hours at 0%, the graphics sho the algorithms doing nothing at all, no columns moving, nothing... but it is using 100% of my CPU.

Have rebooted twice to no change... any of you running on the same problems?

BTW: I also have instaled a VMWare product, but I don't see how this could make it not to work.

I've had a couple of those work units. I got rid of mine by going to the work tab and clicking "Abort". I caught one of them doing it after just a few minutes. After it was gone I checked it out in the results. One poor guy ran the same one about five hours before he caught it.

I believe that there are two types of bad work unit going around. Some don't run at all and show up as 0 KB in size in you folder and the other type may run forever while showing zero percent progress.
