Windows reinstallation?

I have to reinstall my windows new onto another harddrive. Is ist possible to copy and paste the completed and incompleted work from the folder projects onto the new windows- system after reinstalling Boinc? Or will it not work after this? After reinstalling Windows, put the entire folder where you want to have it and install Boinc at that location.
