Yup. Turning everything on bit by bit. Since the backend processes are running so fast, we're going to drain all the validation/assimilation/deletion queues before starting up (in about 12 hours?). Plus want to make sure we have a full complement of work ready to send out.

Ok, so we may be in the last phase of this chaotic event. Could someone summarize the risks centralCommand is taking with the current hardware configuration? (Or are we safe until the cows come home?)

Oh.. there are risks. The new upload volume is on some used disk array with drives that have a higher chance of failure. But it's a RAIDed system. And this is by no means a permanent solution - we would like more spindles/space/CPU so we're hoping to obtain bigger/faster storage in the future.

30000 WUs validated in ~60 Minutes? Is that true or did I misread the time on the Statuspage?

I read the same, and 20000 new WU's in 20 minutes, that means 1000 WU's/min

Yes if it keeps the speed it has drained the validation queue in 6-7 H.
