What are the minimum system requirements for Boinc seti?

Assuming we're talking Windows here (yes, it is the Windows forum, but your name 'MadMacs' might imply...)

Memory is the only resource I recall seeing a quoted figure for: 64Mb and this should be over and above the Operating system minimum requirement. So if your OS min. is 64Mb, you need have 128Mb total. I consider that a bare minimum though 256/512/1024 will work better.

Other than that you need a 32 bit processor Intel Pentium or AMD XP.

Uses around 30-50Mb disc space for BOINC/SETI and a reasoable cache of data, a few add-ons and log files etc.

Pretty much any PC bought in the past 4-5 years shoud be capable of running SETI.

Practically speaking, I would not bother with CPU clock speed less than 1GHz - but thats just me - some run SETI on 300Mhz CPUs

The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein.

Min. system requirement is 64MB of free RAM, that's without OS-use.

HDD requirements depend on your cache size (Boinc determines it by connection days and puter performance) and the projects you run. 50MB should imho be enough for Seti only, connect every 5 days. This will de also sufficient for Predictor, for Einstein add another 30.
If you run ClimatePrediction as well, this one alone needs ~800MB, plus 360 for every old result.
