Personal background |
I am a 30 something guy from south-west England, I work for my local college as an IT Technician.
I enjoy anything to do with science and technology, cycling, rollerquading (tried inline skates couldn't get the hang of 'em), ice skating, white-water-rafting, reading (the past-time, not the city in central England), and computers and playing World of Warcraft. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I think SETI is a fantastic project and it should have much more recognition than it gets, I think that it is important that we understand our place in the universe, and I know it sounds corny but I feel that the only way to really acheive this is to reach out to people, I long for the day that the film Contact comes true, perhaps then the global powers might then set their differences apart, and do something towards exploring our universal neighbourhood - yes this has come from the heart of a trekkie! |
