As much as I hate censorship, the admins shouldn't have to babysit - That's my price for the job, w/o ISP costs.

If you could work 24/7/365 it would come to $766,500.00

But without sleep you'd be dead in a week so your estate would get $2,100 dollars which wouldn't be enough to bury your stinkin' butt....

     $12.50 per hour
    *    24 hours a day
    -------
    $300.00 per day
    *   360 days
    -------
$108,000.00 per year
That's way better than what I'm getting freelancing!

You'd turn down €93500 a year for sitting on your butt and, excluding the occasional idiot, having a good time?

I've gone ahead and put in some code to check the RAC of the person attemping to rate the post, they'll have to have a RAC greater than 5.0 in order to rate somebody.

I've held off of requiring credit in order to post though, E@H only uses the message board format and got rid of their Q&A section all together. Putting that in place would keep any new person from being able to get help on E@H.

That makes it sound like all Boinc sites are run out of the same place. Can't you customize SETI's forums without changing Einstein's forums?

Thanks, Rom. Since I haven't crunched on this account in a while, I tested it - I got an "already rated this post" error.

Let's hope that solves the problem... without setting everyone's signup date to April 15, 2099, of course! :-D

I don't know how often Bruce syncs the BOINC tree on E@H, if he happens to sync before I've had a chance to talk to him about it, there will be a lot of unhappy people out there.

Yes, I made a note about it in the checkin notes file, but that doesn't maen anybody actually reads it before syncing the software.

So, for everybody involved, it is better to be safe than sorry.
