I just spent a bit of time out with Dog in the sunshine this morning watching all the little plumes of smoke rise from just lit or re-stoked wood heaters (I lit mine hours ago with a lot less smoke being involved than most), it might be chilly out there still, but at least there's no wind for a change (in fact it's really calm so far) and it's that wind that gets me. It kicked off here at a clear 5C (felt like 3C) and we're now at 9C (feels like 8C) with 17C being expected while here in the shed it's 20C and still rising, but that 1 load of firewood in the fireplace should be more than enough to last until the solar heating really kicks right in. Anyhow I think that I'll give this shoulder of mine another day off (it was starting to get a bit sore again driving back from down south late yesterday afternoon) and if the last of the leaves have fallen (and we don't get any rain today) I may do my last mow for a few months, but with this weird weather I won't bet on that. Cheers. |

I damn near cooked myself out of the shed before I got it all opened up as the temp downstairs hit 31C and 15C upstairs, but it did dry the air out a bit in here until the next lot of rain hits (which is suppose to be later in this afternoon). Anyhow I did get a few small fiddly jobs out of the way before LLB time arrived. Cheers. |

Sorry to hear that Scott, Yes, I was very excited to learn a new trade skill. I did learn LOTS about how the Post Office does things. It just wasn't meant to be. Sorry, the hear that Scott. I am sure you did learn a lot and that you will be able to find something better suited. You might try a FedEx store. Your computer skills and now postage skills would be welcomed and they don't walk a lot. Whatever is next, at least I got my AMEX and my CITI-COSTCO cards paid completely off. +1 You tried and found the limits of your body TL. I definitely found the limits of this old body. (NOT really that old, though....) Hey Scott. Wish you had a TARDIS? Walk around until you need a break and pop into your TARDIS and rest up. Then go back in time to when you started your break and start working again. That would have done the trick! You gave it your best shot, that's all that counts!! :-) Yes, I did my absolute best at it. My body wasn't cut out to walk 16K Steps a day. TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Winning on a chilly Sunday morning and still there's been no frost, but that should change sometime this week (maybe even as soon as tomorrow). Cheers. |

It was a cloudy 6C (felt like 3C) start here at 6am and now at 10am it's 10C (feels like 6C) with 13C being expected. Also being expected is our 1st antarctic blast for the year that should start to take effect up here tomorrow with a cold wet hit first finishing off with our 1st frost on Thursday (we should've had a month's worth of frosts here by now while being a lot drier). Anyhow here in the shed it's 27C downstairs and 22C upstairs as I continue to wait for the solar heating system to kick in. Cheers. |

Winning now that the clouds have gone, but 11C (felt like 6C) was the best that we could do here today, and we'll be lucky to get anywhere near that over the next few days. Cheers. |

01:02 local time, +9°C, and rain. A fantastic late spring/early summer, NOT. My son liked it in Lund very much. Is it true that you don`t use coins and notes anymore ? He changed 5000 Krones and had a hard time to get rid of it. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Winning on a chilly Monday morning down under. Well at 3C (feels like 1C) we could have a frost, but we'll see once that sun starts to rise in about an hour's time. Cheers. |

We had a very lite and very patchy frost here this morning, which had me bring in a few potted herbs (it was long past the time to do so anyway) light the fire and do some re-potting, but now the rain has started to fall as the temp reaches 10C (feels like 4C). Anyhow I'm going to read a bit more of my latest book down by the fire while taking in all the herbal aromas. ;-) Cheers. |

My body says it’s very close to bedtime. It is a little past midnight and I almost agree with it. |
