Why on earth would I change that?

That answer my question. It's working again. Thanks.

They apparenty axed the assimilation queue. It dropped instantly to almost zero and there is now over 20 million results waiting for purging!

Looks like the website is back to running on the replica, so current information...forget about it. However, the SSP is working well, and stats are climbing again.

I completely agree you bet me to it. You posted as I was writing my post. If I can just also add their is over 600,000 results ready to send and the delay is only 3 minutes

It was some SSP glitch. Now the numbers have returned to 'normal'.

Not all of them. the 27M for purging went away for sure. Still 600K S@H task in RTS along with 6K AP, and the SSP isn't hours behind.

Total credit is skyrocketing too. Kind of a mixed bag, but mostly good.

Did anyone else have their stats reset? I had completed roughly 1,100 tasks on this account (including about 300 that were pending), seemingly wiped out. Now it is showing 171 total tasks, no added credits for the pending or inconclusive tasks. RAC keeps declining.
Edit: had a jump of 2,000 total credits right after posting, no increase of RAC. Not sure if those 2,000 came from the 171 new tasks or if that came from the ones that are currently missing.

There may be some pages which are now several days in the past because they were moved back to the Replica DB. Look at time stamps on the page itself.

The gates for new work where opened. Refill your caches for the last days, while you can!

I would agree that at the moment downloads are going in to back off mode. Maybe it's because people are all trying to download at once

Slower machine is now full:-)

Fighting with downloads on the TR.

Been keeping an eye on some older tasks* and have noticed a drop in tasks awaiting validation ie: being validated and validated tasks expiring in the last couple of hours.

*(TR running under Ian&Steve acc)

600k tasks available on a one-time basis is a drop in the bucket for demand. You’ll get a slow system filled maybe. But not enough for everyone. That what?, like 6 tasks per host on average? Maybe less?

Unless the splitters keep up, which they aren’t, those 600k will be send out and returned in hours. Then back to the trickle. As of now they’re almost gone already

Yep back to a trickle of only 50K left out that 600K. Still having a hard time pulling down the stalled downloads I have received.

A lot of resends, already processed and reported. Hope that helps to squeeze a little bit the DB.

My 3570K rig was totally out of work this morning so I turned both Rosetta and Einstein back on.

Rosetta started up without a hitch, but Einstein had a bit of a problem at their end as no work unit downloads would complete to start with though they eventually started to work on the 3rd try.

Now while that CPU is tied up with Rosetta my GPU's are back to doing Seti again (until they again run out).

Cheers.

I've just left my system in what I call split mode, which is one GPU dedicated to SETI, the other to Astropulse. I normally only do that when I have AP GPU tasks in my system, but not enough of anything coming out so it'll just catch whatever comes out.

. . Well things have improved since the weekend, my caches are now at about 50% or better so I have fired the big hitters back up. Maybe we'll go out with at least a fizzle pop rather than a whimper .........

All 4 machines now have full chaches. I was going to turn off the 2 Linux machines last night as they had both been doing nothing for many hours.

Glad I didn't ;-)
