| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home because I have a mathematical belief in aliens. When you look at the images coming from various space telescopes and see these tiny specs of light and realise those aren't stars, but rather, entire galaxies, and when you consider how many planets are in those galaxies, and the fact that the image is but a sliver of the entire universe, it is impossible for me to believe aliens don't exist. They may not exist in the way pop culture depicts them, but every time I look at those images, it is the greatest representation of the Drake Equation. I thus believe that SETI@home is a worthy cause. My suggestion is come back soon! |
