All should face the consequences of their actions.
Correct?
Apparently not in the US.
For an example. The very idea of "plea bargaining" in justice is unknown at the very least in our Nordic countries.

Are you sure?
Here in the UK it is not unknown for "the guilty" to agree to pleading guilty to a lesser crime. Such as manslaughter in place of the murder charge, or to driving without due care and attention instead of dangerous driving.

Well I don't know all about the law procedures in Sweden.
But in the UK it's called the Common Law. Very few countries practice that.
Picture of the countries who does it.

Never heard of any "plea bargaining" in courts here in Sweden anyway.

If you want to know about common law look up the other Harry Potter Barrister.

The only time I have visited a court is in fact in England. 1972 in Hove/Brighton as a spectator.
Just for studying purpose as a spectator of course. Strange procedures though:)

You wouldn't. It doesn't happen in court: it happens in the private offices of the lawyers beforehand. In court, all that happens is the the prosecutor "offers no evidence" (effectively withdraws) the serious charge, and the defendant pleads guilty to the lesser charge. Which is roughly where we came in.

More proof that v2.0 is an absolute idiot.

Trump says US topping world virus cases is 'badge of honour'.

So he reckons that his inaction is worth a 'badge of honour'? Maybe several badges of dishonour would be much more appropriate

But I do wonder what fabulous new fake "conspiracy theories" he'll come up with next to help his ratings.

"By the way," he told reporters, "you know when you say that we lead in cases, that's because we have more testing than anybody else."
What?
The US does NOT have more testing than anybody else if you take the size of the countries population in consideration.
Then the US is in the 38th place just behind Belarus!
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
The country with most testing is still the Faeroe Islands. Ok. That's not a country but an autonomous region to Denmark. But Iceland is a country in 2'nd place with 167,710 per million and testing by far more of their citizens then the US with 38,234 per million. That's four times more!

Btw. Trump doesn't know what a "Badge of Honour" is. Certainly not the word Honour.

Perhaps the "badge of honour" is for having the largest ego?????

BTW: The acceptance of Federal Law Enforcement hiding exculpatory evidence from the Court's and the Defendant, which is now being made public. Is another confirmation that the Right and Left are very similar in their corrupt use of Law Enforcement to further their political ends.

I don't recall seeing an example of the Right's corrupt use of Law Enforcement or concealing exculpatory evidence.......

Now we are living in a Left Wing McCarthy like era.
Yes, they have many similarities.
Left Wing McCarthy similarities?
Hmm... How about Roy Cohn? Trump learned at lot from him and his father Fred.

I think WCG's badge system would be appropriate for him. He would go from Bronze to Diamond in 7 days. :-)

So, if hydroxychloroquine is as dangerous as the liberal media claims, shouldn’t they be ecstatic that President Trump is taking it?

@ Clyde........

McCarthy was 70 years ago and Nixon was half a century in the past........I think the Conservatives have learned a lot since then. The Left has also learned a lot, mainly that they can get away with criminal acts with impunity as long as they control the media.

What media claims that hydroxychloroquine is dangerous? I keep reading that it's useless against Corona virus but some get heart problem from it.

SUPERTrumpTime

https://dailycaller.com/2020/05/20/staunton-virginia-city-council-election-democrats

Democratic incumbents Erik Curren, Ophie Kier, and James Harrington all almost doubled their vote totals from 2016, yet still lost.

Yes. Why vote for a democrat when there are dictators, eh, I mean a certain republican to vote instead.
The US is getting more like China when it comes to how a country should be governed!

I don't know about that, but they're certainly up there with the "Russia Style" now. ;-)
