Just in case the story is doubted as it's on a site called "MAGA Daily Report", here is the official DOJ release. |

Just in case the story is doubted as it's on a site called "MAGA Daily Report", here is the official DOJ release."MAGA Daily Report" didn't quote the full DOJ report. They left this quote. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. It merely alleges that crimes have been committed. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.I wonder why:) |

Ah, after listening to hours of testimony the Republicans had one witness and he was lucid. Unfortunately for them he could nor did not make a case for Trump being innocent. This has them settining their hair on fire and instead they are attacking the Democrat witnesses. Just in case the story is doubted as it's on a site called "MAGA Daily Report", here is the official DOJ release. Quite interesting, reading the official release and not the MAGA fiction. "Among other things, these contributions allegedly allowed Khawaja to host ... a private fundraising dinner for an elected official in 2018." Now who was in office in 2018? Was Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in office in 2018? What do you bet the event was for Rump! After all he was in office in 2018! |

All taunting and rancor aside there are three questions I'd like posters on this thread to answer honestly, not for rebuttal but for the record. Question #1) Do you believe the US House of Representatives will vote to impeach President Donald Trump? Question #2) Do you believe the US Senate will convict President Donald Trump of 'High Crimes and Misdemeanors'? Question #3) Do you believe the expense of time and taxpayer funds have benefited the Citizens of the United States of America? In advance and for the record my answers are #1 Yes, #2 No, #3 No. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Question #1) Do you believe the US House of Representatives will vote to impeach President Donald Trump? Yes. Sufficient votes have been confirmed. Question #2) Do you believe the US Senate will convict President Donald Trump of 'High Crimes and Misdemeanors'? No. I think for a two-third majority that twenty Republican senators would have to vote to convict. Confirmations thus far: zero. I don't think that this will change by more than one or two votes. Question #3) Do you believe the expense of time and taxpayer funds have benefited the Citizens of the United States of America? I can't determine yet until the results are complete and the outcome is seen. If POTUS Trump really did have the intent of hanging aid funds on digging up dirt on a rival in order to win an election, then I think that it is the duty of the opposition party (and sadly, not his own) to do what they can to oppose this by whatever legal means are at their disposal, even though it is doomed to failure, because it is the correct thing to do to keep your democracy, the most important democracy in this little world, working properly... all that may be the result is that it was brought to public light, but that may be enough. However that is a very large "if", hanging mostly on testimony, which as anyone knows can be unreliable (thus the volume of it required in order for correlation.) I did notice that when POTUS was called on the plan to host the G7 at Mar-A-Lago, that he changed this almost immediately, recognizing that this would have been a physical-evidence as opposed to testimonial violation of the emoluments clause that would have been added to the Articles with possibly more weight, but he has not similarly backed down on this which may possibly mean that at least he did not think he was doing anything wrong ie intent. So, I'm still ambiguous. |

What's the point to impeach him now. It's only a year before he have to leave the office down voted by the American people. Yes I'm quite sure he will lose his final battle. Unless he start talking "I'm not a crook" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh163n1lJ4M Well. Let's see what China think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5sR_2wspR8 |

It's only a year before he have to leave the office down voted by the American people. Yes I'm quite sure he will lose his final battle. I'm not so sure... the China trade deal will be confirmed in 2020 and kick the economy back into high gear, he still has very firm support of roughly 95% registered Republicans and roughly 95% of them make sure to vote, he wasn't implicated in the Mueller Report, the impeachment conviction/removal is almost certainly not going to happen (and, need I add, he hasn't started any wars yet. :^) ) So I still think it's quite possible he may get a second term. |

Before answering your questions, I have a quick question. What's your time frame? And you might want to take in the comments of, Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University law professor who was the only Republican-selected witness of four legal scholars who testified at the House Judiciary Committee’s opening impeachment hearing. Calling “the abbreviated period of this investigation†both problematic and puzzling, Mr. Turley said Congress had assembled “a facially incomplete and inadequate record in order to impeach a president.†The evidence has gaps because of “unsubpoenaed witnesses with material evidence,†he argued, and it is wrong to move forward without hearing from them. ******** https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/04/us/politics/turley-impeachment.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage Also, CNN - Washington Post: Barr's handpicked prosecutor tells watchdog he doesn't have evidence Russia probe was a setup (originally WaPo) Washington (CNN)The prosecutor chosen by Attorney General William Barr to examine how US agencies investigated President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign has said he cannot provide evidence to the Justice Department's inspector general in support of a theory that the case was a setup, people familiar with the matter told The Washington Post. So the Republican Law expert says delay and a key part of Trump's defense has no substance. |

As per the Mueller Report, the Democrat's Hearings and now apparently Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz 's investigation. In all reality, returning to a situation similar to that before Trump took office will probably not happen in the next 20 years. |
