So do I, but all I got was a not intact slice of apple pie for Trexgiving, maybe if the weather holds dry on Xmas I'll get some or I won't be driving anywhere on that day.

Yeah, well, it just occurred to me that it is Friday the 13th!

We've been hit HARD early this morning... THREE of our Set Top Boxes for AT&T U-Verse HAVE FAILED!!! Some kind of Firmware Update was pushed last night that took out the DVR and our two Wireless Boxes.

😞😔😟🙁 😳😱😨😧😯😮😲 😢😭 😤😠😡🤯

To make things worse, they WERE going to mail us the replacements, BUT the replacements wouldn't arrive 'til MAYBE Tuesday, perhaps Wednesday... So, I insisted upon having a U-Verse Technician come out to replace the defective boxes that failed in the Firmware Update... ALL three of the failed boxes continue to state "Restart Receiver" EVEN AFTER they've been restarted.

WORST WEEKEND EVER!!!

OH, and the Technician CAN'T get out here until Monday between 11 AM and 1 PM - PST.

AND, the cosmic joke is that the OLDEST STB of the group IS STILL WORKING! It happens to be in my bedroom. BUT, it is Wired by COAX and CANNOT be moved to the main TV downstairs where one of the Wireless Boxes resided.

I should NOT have looked at that photo of pecan pie, next to some sort of yummy "adult beverage".

Eric is at a dinner meeting tonight and I was planning to have a nice big virtuous salad for dinner, but now I want pie, gosh darn it!!!
