Thanks for the win TL, damn I've never won one of these before, so let's carry on with the usual. The rules ------------ 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.) 6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's. 7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post) Cheers. |

Near you? One charging station way way across town and not very convenient. |

No, it's just a Solar Post that I found online @ the Daily UK, this is the Solar I'm using it's a 7.5w panel hooked up to My car battery. I had to rock the car back and forth so I could push My car forward while in neutral out from under the car port, I bought this panel the last time I changed car batteries since I currently don't have an electrical outlet under the car port yet. I have a beefy jumper cable above My head just in case this does not do the job. The panel has been on the dash since Thursday. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Vic, methinks the panel would do better without the filtering action of the windshield. |

Maybe, but it's not a secure location and I don't have a fence around My space. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

So do I, 20 are in fact nearby at Eddie World here in Yermo CA, though 18 are Tesla superchargers and the other 2 have been built but are awaiting a final inspection I think before those 2 ChargePoint chargers are activated and that's about 0.5 to 1.0 mile away from My home. Though I plan to install sometime in the near future a 60Amp breaker which I have now and a NEMA 14-60 240v outlet in a lockable weather proof box under My carport awning under an eave I bought, but not right now. The 14-60 outlet is for Wattzilla Black Mamba 48A Level2 J1772 charging cable. I know My next car will not be a Nissan Leaf, it gets too hot out here since the max operating temp for the Leaf battery is 113F I read, currently a Chevy Bolt LT looks ok, but not today as I don't have enough income yet. I'm registered for ChargePoint and EVgo. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I spent most of yesterday playing around with half of my early birthday present to myself (a SSD and new CPU fan) and by yesterday evening my 2500K was converted over to Linux Mint 19.1. Now I plan on having a break today (it is Sunday here after all and some beers must be enjoyed) so about the only thing that I'll be doing is watching w/u's being gobbled up (also my toes are nice and warm where they are). The other SSD and CPU fan will get put into my 3570K sometime during the week. Now get posting everyone as I was hoping to have this finished by tomorrow. ;-) Cheers. |
