All my hosts are in various stages of stalled downloads. I think one of the download servers is having issues again. Some WUs download as soon as they're allocated, others sit there for some time before they eventually start to download & eventually finish. Grant Darwin NT |

Well the RTS buffer looks to be empty in advance of the forthcoming outrage.... Well, I guess I could take some of the blame, I just converted another one of my computers to linux and the special sauce app. 5 computers of 10 converted so far. I'm going to leave 2 as windows machines, because one has a GTX 750 1GB and it errors out (memory overflow) on the special sauce. The other is my everyday computer. |

a few weeks back 8am ET (13:00 UTC) was the "normal" time. more recently it seems 11am ET has become normal (16:00 UTC). really it can be anywhere it seems. Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours |

a few weeks back 8am ET (13:00 UTC) was the "normal" time. more recently it seems 11am ET has become normal (16:00 UTC).It makes more sense if you look at it in the time zone where the action happens - on the Pacific coast. Early doors is 5am local (that's Jeff Cobb): later starts are between 8am and 9am, when the whole lab wakes up. I see the scheduler is already blocking reports - I wonder if the boards are still up. Yay! |

So y'all know it here as well: Wish it wasn't at the same time as the seti downtime, as I usually go over there to chat while these boards are down. Is there another place for us to meet on Tuesdays?? |

Well the RTS buffer looks to be empty in advance of the forthcoming outrage.... . . TBar covered the issue with 1GB cards some time ago. Unfortunately I cannot at this point remember what the solution was ... though I believe it involved an earlier version of CUDA than 91. Stephen ? ? <shrug> |

For a relatively normal length outage, the servers are being recalcitrant in even letting you report work. I can't even get through with NNT and 50 tasks maximum to report. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

For a relatively normal length outage, the servers are being recalcitrant in even letting you report work. I can't even get through with NNT and 50 tasks maximum to report. . . Yep they are being decidedly unco-operative ... I have just now been able to report the work from this machine but it gets the same old "no tasks available" message as the other machines that have reported work. The 4th machine has yet to manage even that ... Stephen :( |

Ha ha . . . . 1.44M tasks in the RTS buffer . . . . and none of them are going out to anybody on request. Servers are definitely foobar. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
