Just got home from Synagogue, (Torah Studies), and a special service afterwards. (NOT Jewish by faith; but due to DNA Testing, have found out I'm 100% Ashkenazi Jewish.) I'm researching Judaism, and my Jewish roots. <--- Came home to see that I've just broken the 7K RAC barrier and NOW have a Silver Badge! :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Posting. Nope, no bacon, just 2 low calorie carb and low salt ham slices, low calorie(15) mayo, mustard, and 40cal a slice multi grain bread. If and when I do any genetic testing it'll be thru ancestry.com where My family tree is at. I'd wanted to do that this month, but I'm tapped out after paying Amazon so much trying to pay down some debt, right now it's 40% off there or about $60. Posting. I did both Ancestry.com and 23andMe.com. 23andMe.com was more thorough and detailed, but I'm glad I did both. I'm getting DNA hits from both, and so far NONE are repeats of the other. TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

Post dinner post. Being adopted, I have 0 knowledge of either side. I'm making some contacts through both Ancestry and 23andMe. Just got a HUGE Hit tonight through Ancestry. My 1st Cousin, (twice removed), has given me history on my birth mom's side of the family. She is referring me to another cousin who has done EXTENSIVE Ancestry Research on this side of the family, AND they have direct contact with my Maternal Grandfather! :-) :-D I'm hoping to make contact with this side of the family off Ancestry, and have phone conversations, (to start with), and see where things go from there. To be honest my parents found a potential match on Linked-In to a woman who's name and age are "right" to be my birth mother. I did send this woman a request to be added to her contacts, and a LOOOONG and Detailed Initial Contact Message. It's been about four days, and NO response from her. IF this is her, she may NOT want contact with me. My parents state that she was about 13 when I was born. Much too young to be having children. So, with that said, she may NOT want contact, because she may NOT want to be reminded of the issue. I can only hope that someday she changes her mind. All I want is to get to know her, IF possible. Post dinner post. Too young today, but back in neolithic times, well We are talking human biology here, things were different then I'd read most humans didn't live to see 30 years of age, back then We were prey, now We have cats as pets and live at least twice as long as 30. I hope you have good luck on finding out more. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

The goal is a totally empty task list for hostid=7585453. Hmm, well as you aborted quite a few tasks and one has been resent to a machine that has not communicated with SETI@Home for 11 days, and the task has a return time of 6th Jan, looks like we might have to wait till the end of FEB!! |
