Still have 1 day of work. And of bad air.
Fire is over 80 miles away. At it's peak I was getting embers the size of a finger falling.
Did I say it was 80 miles away.
Air unhealthful due to smoke.

Is that actually a new layer of asphalt or just them tarring over the old?

It's slurry, it's now in front and back, except for the front road on the A side all road cracks have been filled with tar with slurry on top.

Prep just before paving with slurry.

Slurry only, they didn't even prep the cracks with tar, just laid slurry.

At 5pm PT or after I'm told I can drive on it.

Be careful. That stuff is murder to get off your car's paint.

I don't have anywhere to go today, just cause I could doesn't mean that I will, it should be ok by Saturday.
Slurry takes 4-6 hours to dry, real asphalt takes 24 hours before one can drive on it.

Sorry, but not if I can help it.

And yes My right arm does hurt, though not as much since I raised the temp at the digital thermostat to 77F.

I'm sorry your arm is hurting.

Interesting fact... heat helps with healing long term because it increases blood flow, but short term heat makes you feel better because it raises your pain threshold.

Thanks Angela, it wasn't just the muscles in My right bicep that was hurting, it's also My right shoulder joint, If the pain there gets to be too much I may need to go to the ER so I can have some recent xrays to see about getting a new shoulder joint with My Doctors help.
