I also do not 'love' the current President, but I respect his determination and believe he truly believes in the American People and is working for them as he promised.

Do you not claim to be a historian, if so, then you know that the timeline is all important about getting the facts correct.
This comment,
Was the fake “Russia Dossier” used to get the ball rolling?
, leads me suspect your historian claim.

Trump denounced the dossier’s findings as “fake news,” and claimed the document was the impetus for a politically motivated investigation.

But the Comey investigation started in June 2016 after a drunken Papadopoulos, the previous month, told an Australian diplomat that the Russian government had dirt on Clinton in the form of thousands of emails.

It was July 2016 before Steele contacted the FBI with the first of the memo's, and Jan 2017 before the complete Steele Dossier was handed over.

The most titillating claim, sexual acts involving Trump that were arranged and monitored by Russian intelligence, hasn’t been corroborated.
But the primary theme of the dossier, that the Russians sought to influence the election to disrupt U.S. politics and Western alliances, has been substantiated.

I agree that there has been a two year period of Trump tantrums about fake news, collusion and witch hunts.

The investigation was about Russian interference in the 2016 elections, it was Trump himself, because he always wants to be the center of attention, that tried to make it a witch hunt into the actions of himself and his entourage.

One thing that Trump and Putin has in common though.

And happy grins on Russia's state TV.

@Clyde

My problem with Bernie is the same one I have with all PROFESSIONAL politicians. The holding of an office in Government in the US was initially to be a duty and service to The People, not an occupation. The only things Bernie has ever done successfully revolves around winning elections and the majority of his life's income has been from the public treasury.

It's not Bernie specifically but the entire current makeup of our Legislature. Nearly all of them have made no other contribution outside of politics. I would support a system of 'One and Done' term limits on all levels including the President. As Samuel Clemmons said "Babies diapers and Politicians should be changed regularly for the same reason". Bernie has been in office too long as have most of those in Government.

Bernie's position on universal healthcare in my opinion would terribly dilute the quality medical care received by patients and cause a mass exodus of highly skilled and talented Doctors from the public practice of the profession into private care limited to the well heeled leaving an even worse situation for 'the masses'. Not to mention the well documented fact that when the "Government" (read taxpayer), is footing the bill the prices will inflate dramatically ...........because they can.

Same for free 'tertiary education' as is demonstrated by the Colleges engaged in a constant rise in tuition 'just because they can'. A better plan would be a forgiveness of and a cap on the cost of education for the STEM categories, provided the student graduates with a sufficient grade point. Those studying philosophy and political science and the like would be responsible for their own costs.

Also Bernie's position(s) on the 2nd Amendment over the years seems to be one of watching which way the flag is blowing on the day of the vote. Sometimes supporting 2nd Amendment Rights and other times voting for infringement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders (See Gun Related).

As to Ms. Brazille. The acknowledged fact she supplied the questions before hand to Hil-Liar-y in an effort to subvert the process of debate should disqualify her from consideration for any position of trust. Her actions are the textbook definition of Collusion. I frankly don't think anything she says can be trusted.

I agree with most of your comments on 'professional politicians' but I think you have got it wrong about healthcare, the evidence from other countries contradicts your theory.

The US citizens are paying way too much for healthcare, in some cases it is costing lives. The human cost of insulin in America

This is a very poor assessment of character.

He is a narcissist. He believes that if he thinks it; it must be true. He's made that statement many times when people confront him with evidence that what he has said isn't factual.
He is a master con man who's only concern is for the ratings.
His actions are not for the US citizenry, but for his own glorification and to enhance his family's wealth.
He doesn't care about rule of law; he skirts the law in any way possible (ask the 500 subcontractors that got stiffed).
He surrounds himself with people who break the law regularly and reveres a mob lawyer, Cohen.

Just open your eyes and look at the evidence.

If you want to be happy about the changes to SCOTUS and lesser courts and whatever other advantage you get from a Republican being in office, then state that. But be clear that you made a deal with a devil.

I would vote for Biden

Good luck getting him past the #metoo movement.

Here's just one of many images that will start circulating of Biden grabbing women for way too long or inappropriately.
Here he just got done flicking Carol Van Hollen's breast.

Al Franken couldn't even keep his Senate seat for much less than the sheer number of metoo moments Biden has had.

What he did to Anita Hill will haunt him till he dies.

The U.S. spent 15.3% of GDP on healthcare in 2006; Canada spent 10.0%. In 2006, 70% of healthcare spending in Canada was financed by government, versus 46% in the United States. Some of the noted differences were a higher life expectancy in Canada, as well as a lower infant mortality rate than the United States.

In 2017, 54 other countries have lower infant mortality rates than the USA (5.8 deaths per 1000),
Canada is 9 places higher (4.5 deaths per 1000). A great deal of the 54 countries with lower rates have socialized medicine. https://photius.com/rankings/2018/population/infant_mortality_rate_total_2018_0.html

Infant mortality among Black Americans is 100% higher at 11.75/1000 https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr67/nvsr67_05.pdf

States that accepted the Medicaid expansion saw a decline in infant mortality from 5.9 to 5.6 while states that refused the expansion saw a .1 point increase from 6.4 to 6.5. Black citizens in Medicaid expansion states saw the mortality rate drop from 11.7 to 10.0. https://ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/pdf/10.2105/AJPH.2017.304218

As with so much else, I think George Carlin summed this up perfectly.

Linked rather than quoted due to language... also some of it would not pass muster here even with censor marks. :^)

censored redacted ... Trumpdown! It isn't over yet!
Just got a nastygram from the IRS. Seems the tax form that was sent to them in the middle of the Trumpdown wasn't received "on time." So they want to send a bitch slap nastygram and tell me never do that again. Oh and we are waving the penalty, but don't do it again.
So just how much extra money is being spent because of the Trumpdown? Just how many letters did they send out? How much in paper, envelopes and postage? How much time for agents to spend on the telephone saying, oops Trumpdown, on their call us too free phone lines?

But the Democrat Party's ignorance of how to win presidential elections was and still is the problem.
If you can't win the game.....change the rules.

Ask Jussie Smollet.

The Obamas still rule Chicago.

Yes. Wasn't the 2016 election a tie?

The 2016 Presidential Election wasn't a tie.

Neither Hillary nor The Donald received 50% of the popular vote. Meaning the majority of the American voters didn't want either one to be President. In the USA, the States, following the will of their people, elected The Donald as President.

If only, since the majority didn't vote for either disgusting candidate, we could just start over again with two other people.

I think that Donald Trump with 46.1% of the popular votes and Hillary Clinton with 48.2% is almost a tie.
Anyway Trump was the winner in those states that the Electoral Collage favored Trump.
And the winner takes all.
But now it's only less then two years to when he's gone:)

Rand Paul: Former Obama CIA chief promoted ‘dossier,’ demands investigation of Obama team

Wednesday, March 27, 2019

BREAKING: A high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report... Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP.
— Senator Rand Paul (@RandPaul) March 27, 2019

“I think we need to find the truth,” he told Washington Secrets. He said the goal would be to stop similar faulty investigations into future administrations, “Democratic or Republican.”

He he he he,...............And so........the worm begins to turn.
How HIGH does it go?

Interesting as Senator Paul is definitely not a Trump fan.

And.........
https://nypost.com/2019/03/14/former-michelle-obama-aide-tried-to-intervene-in-jussie-smollett-probe/
Former Michelle Obama aide tried to intervene in Jussie Smollett probe
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx reached out to Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson after Tina Tchen, the former senior Obama official, emailed the prosecutor saying the “Empire” actor’s family had “concerns” about the probe, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Tchen passed Foxx’s number to a family member of Smollett, and the ensuing conversations with the relative were later cited by the prosecutor as the reason she recused herself from the probe, according to the paper, which obtained messages from Foxx in response to a public records request.

.....and 'miraculously' all charges were 'dropped' and the case sealed.

Apparently there is Justice and there is Clinton/Obama Justice....

Gonna be interesting the next time a Chicago PD officer sees Mr Smollet J-walk...........wanna bet he moves to LA?

.....or maybe he'll be elected to Congress......yeah, that's about right.

I love God and Karma.
