Yet in the US there are between 1,300 and 1,500 children killed annually in gun related incidents and in the UK in the year 2014/15 there was a total of 19 fatalities, for all people of all ages, from gun related incidents.

I'm not lecturing you the figures speak for themselves. The ongoing gun experiment in the US is a total f'ing failure.
