Trump strikes and snatches their child away. And now that he has dragged them away from the crossing point he can and does charge them with illegal entry.Nice choice of words to incite hatred, you could be a successful yellow journalist! Do I agree with Trump? I agree that the Laws needs to be enforced instead of ignored as a convenient cowardly workaround. I agree that Congress is the only branch of Government empowered to make or change Laws. I agree that the anti-trumpets are using the children as pawns to elicit further hate against Conservative goals. I agree that when Trump tried to hold Congress' feet 'to the fire' on DACA and Immigration with a deadline, an Uber Liberal court ruling gave the fat ass Representatives and Senators a convenient way to AGAIN avoid coming together for a permanent solution. And if those parents are not 'informed' enough to make a decision affecting their children' s lives..........then WHERE did they get the idea they would be welcomed with open arms when they crossed? SOMEONE had to put that idea in their head. Could it be the last eight years of unconstitutional non enforcement of the Law by the Coward in Chief who couldn't be bothered to take time to solve the problem instead of leaving it (along with Korea, Iran, the economy a broken Healthcare system and a broken Army) for the 'next guy' to fix, while HE polishes his pilfered Nobel? I agree that Trump is trying to get the problem solved but is being vilified for his efforts as he is for everything he says or does. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

#1 - Do you agree with Trump enforcing for the first time 'zero tolerance' on this issue?I don't see any other tools 'in the bag' to bring a fractious Congress to the table to fix the problem without being blocked by a Federal Court System stacked against him by Big Ears and the BSers. Again Congress CAN SOLVE the problem IF THEY TRY! The problem is they DON'T WANT to solve the problem, they, like a lot of posters, just want to point fingers and argue semantics and personalities. Let's ask this question. When American citizens, who are parents, are convicted of a crime and sentenced to prison, is it humane to turn their children over to Child Services? Should these families be 'kept together'? Remember in this example we are talking about American Citizens and their children who are ALSO American Citizens not illegal aliens without the inherent rights of citizenship. #1 - Institute truly effective border controls. At the same time... Which is exactly what was offered by Trump before Schumer and Pelosi decided to torpedo any agreement when the Court order came down suspending the DACA deadline. I believe Trump's four pillars are reasonable and should be accepted by the left. But securing the border is the lynch pin to any compromise being a lasting solution. If you just keep cleaning up the mess when it rains and never fix the roof you can't expect anything to change. I have no desire to expel anyone who grew up here under any plan. And I don't think Trump or his administration does either. What I do believe is the Schumerlosis are willing to continue allowing this atrocity to deny Trump anything that might be considered a win on the wall. They have proven for years that children's lives are meaningless within the walls of Planned Parenthood so why should a few mistreated children at the border cause sleepless nights to those who march in the cause of resist and deny? #1 - Institute truly effective border controls. At the same time... The only way to secure the border is to have a reasonable path for someone to come into the country. Setting a limit of 10 persons a year is not reasonable. Hence no matter what wall is built, it will be breached. Set a reasonable path and everyone who wants to come will present themselves at an entry point. If you want to fix the problem, fix the problem, don't treat the symptoms and let the cancer grow. Eye, when your family came here the barriers were a medical test and $20. Unless you are a first people, then there was no barrier at all. There is no reason except the need to claim political points, that America can't have the same today. Medical test for disease, verify you aren't criminal, have cash. The $20 today might be $2000 inflation adjusted. Done. Now ask yourself why would anyone cross illegally with those rules? |

I do agree that it is now the Left and the Democrats who are against permanently legalizing DACA and many, many, many others, because they are against securing our borders The Dems are not against securing the borders. They are against the wall, because virtually every study and common sense says a wall is not the best option. In fact a wall has many disadvantages which Trump and his supporters haven't even looked at. |

Do tell, I guess the common sense part is what escaped Bubba and Hill-Liary's logic........among others who decry their sovereign soil the same protection they reserve for their personal property. That's probably due more to privacy than security. In that case we could probably save a few million a year on Secret Service protection for those two losers. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

That could only be done when the right wing nutters stop attacking the Clintons. edit] I see that Trump is trying to get out of the U.S. commitment to Human Rights. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/19/united-states-announce-withdrawal-un-human-rights-council/ |

Again Trump calling a spade, a spade, nothing more. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |
