Opa.
US Foreign Minister Rex Tillerson is expected to be replaced on his post, states the New York Times. According to the anonymous US sources of authority that the newspaper quotes, he will be replaced by the current CIA director Mike Pompeo in the coming weeks.
Rex Tillerson also has announced that his visit to Sweden next week will not be...
Well he never wanted the job but was convinced by his wife to accept it.
Anyway. It now seems like Trump are doing a great purge like Stalin once did after all Trump's former cabinet members that are now gone!

Or perhaps understanding that Business Capitalist Trump was (is?) totally ignorant regarding how to run a Government Administration.

We will see.

Heck. He's running your country like he did in The Apprentice TV show.
Every decisions he makes have to be boiled down to about 4 lines that his cabinet propose.
Sorry Trump. Politics doesn't work that way.

And now Trump takes credit for the US economy that is "booming" only after the short time that Trump have been a president.
Sorry Trump. The WORLD economy is "booming".
The "booming effect" started even before Trump was elected.
But he still want to think he is master of economy when stating this on his Twitter account yesterday.
The Dow just broke 24,000 for the first time (another all-time Record). If the Dems had won the Presidential Election, the Market would be down 50% from these levels and Consumer Confidence, which is also at an all-time high, would be “low and glum!”

President Donald Trump, who often brought up the death of Kate Steinle during his campaign, tweeted Thursday night that the acquittal of the undocumented immigrant who shot her was a "disgraceful verdict."
"No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration," the President tweeted hours after a jury acquitted Jose Ines Garcia Zarate

Oh, absolutely! Jose Ines Garcia Zarate should be given a ticker tape parade and the keys to the City of San Francisco! He is a great example of outstanding illegal immigration success and a credit to the entire Sanctuary City Philosophy.

Maybe the Mayor, or Barbara Boxer or Nancy Pelosi or Diane Feinstein should offer him a room in their home........

Sorry. I and many other "master economists" would be stinking rich if we knowed the answer to Booming effects.
It's not a science. It's more like pseudo-science.
But for a very strange reason there is a Nobel prize in economy to many that think they know how economy works.
Maybe Trump will be nominated next year:)

BTW. Alfred Nobel has nothing to do with that strange prize.
He was already dead for more than 50 years when the Swedish Riksbank started giving money and honor to charlatans.
His family are still upset about it!

moomin... As I have posted in the past:
ALL Presidents take credit when the economy is good.
ALL Presidents blame their predecessors, or the Opposition Party if they control Congress, when the economy is bad.
Just normal American Politics.

Hehehe:)

Breaking, Michael Flynn charged with making false statement to the FBI
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn was charged Friday with making a false statement to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, marking another monumental development in the wide-ranging probe of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III.

Flynn was expected to enter a plea at 10:30, according to the special counsel’s office. The charge relates to false statements Flynn made to the FBI on January 24, four days after President Trump was inaugurated, about his meeting with Kislyak during the transition.

Flynn is accused of making false statements to the FBI about asking the ambassador in late December to “refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia that same day.” Flynn also told authorities he did not recall the ambassador saying the Russians would moderate their response to Obama administration sanctions after the conversation.

Separately, authorities say Flynn lied about asking the ambassador to delay a vote on United Nations Security Council resolutions.

That's all so far.

when the gun discharged.
Yes, guns are known to 'discharge' on their own for no reason at all................guns crawl along the beach in CA, and hunt innocent victims constantly. No human interaction is required! Guns Kill People......................not people.

Indict the Gun!

After all 'you can indict a ham sandwich'...........

@ Nick, yup, he lied to the FBI................

..........he also lied to the Vice President.................and he was fired immediately by the President in response to that lie...........No news here except that there is still no evidence of 'Collusion with the Russians to rig the Election'........which was the reason for the witch hunt.

Where is the 'smoking' Russian...........

A 'special prosecutor/investigator' spend their entire time justifying their job.

The problem with these types of 'special' inquiries are they start with an individual and try to find the crimes that were committed. A REAL investigation starts with evidence of a crime then investigate who committed it.

No evidence of the alleged crime has been discovered, rather a lie repeated to the FBI which was already known and handled by termination.

Does not even an accidental discharge of a firearm resulting in death demand a conviction of at least involuntary manslaughter? Whether an overt act or not, Kate is Dead.

The gun was in his hands.

The gun was discharged.

Kate Steinle was struck and killed by the projectile from that discharge.

Seems pretty straightforward that the cause and effect were demonstrated by the evidence.

This is not 'Justice'.

Sorry for using a Law Enforcement Court Testimony description of an event. In common language:

When this Illegal Alien pulled the f------ trigger.

The question regarding the most serious Charge was: Intentionally shooting the victim?

Forensics and Ballistic say possibly no.

Clyde, some people are not fit to serve on juries. Eye appears to be one.

You are correct that mens rea is a requirement in California law. I think you are also correct the case was overcharged. Likely a lot of pressure from bigots to have it overcharged. That backfires more often than not.

<ed>In any case the jury has rendered its verdict, we must respect that and 45 doesn't. Deplorable.

Michael Flynn pleads guilty to lying to the FBI
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty Friday to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, and authorities indicated in court he was acting under instructions from senior Trump transition officials in his dealings with the diplomat.

Flynn’s admission to the charge Friday in federal district court in D.C. is an ominous sign for the White House, as court documents indicate Flynn is cooperating in the ongoing probe of possible coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin to influence the 2016 election.

Prosecutor Brandon L. Van Grack said in court that “a very senior member of the transition team directed” Flynn to contact the Russian ambassador at one point. At another, Flynn “called a senior official of the Trump team at Mar-a-Lago” to discuss a United Nations resolution that Flynn talked about with Kislyak.

Looks like they know where the smoking gun is in the senior part of the administration.
