OK - Everyone have fun, as usual. Riddle Me this: The number is basic, and is known to be a part of PC's, is part Mayan math invention, and is not divisible by a dozen, what number am I? [RULES:] 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.) 6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's. Got the car back a couple hours ago. NOW, the air system works the way it should! New Fan Motor Assembly, (as I knew that this was the problem), is working. AC is cold, defroster works, fresh air comes in - if I desire. Though, I prefer to keep the air system on Recirculate to keep out pollutants from the inside of the vehicle. All is as it should be. 😃 TL P.S. It ONLY took 4 FRAKKING years to convince Honda that this needed to be done!!! TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

You sound like Starbuck, but look like TL, thankfully I see no Cigar. Honda's My only experiences with that brand was with a VT250 and a CB1100F, the CB1100F had valves like on a VW Bug. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

My Ferrari mechanic said when I suggested I was thinking of buying a Testarossa. "Why do you want a Honda!" I asked What do you mean. His response the Testarossa like Honda's never break. |

Done here for the night. My best cars were the '69 to '72 Buick Skylark GS and GSX builds from Detroit. I owned a '69, a '70, '71, and '72. The '69 had a 400ci motor, the rest had 455s. The '69 was by far the fastest. The 455s had more torque on the bottom end, but did not rev as fast as that 400, which was built off of the 350 small block rather than the big block. My longest running chassis was a mid 70's Buick Electra...quite the beast. Racked up 140k before I retired it. Had a Buick chassis, but the motor was an Oldsmobile 403. Which even Detroit had trouble identifying after they did it. Was in those troubled years when Detroit tossed production of the Buick 455, and really had no big block motor to replace it. The 350 Buick was all that they had left, and Electra buyers wanted their big motors. So. GM Buick division cut a deal with Oldsmobile division and started installing OLDS 403s into the Electras. Which quickly hit a snag when die hard Buick guys notices the valve covers were BLUE instead of Buick red. Crashed hard, and there were some lawsuits. My old Electra was not known by VID, nor serial number, when it came to looking up such simple things such as spark plugs. There were no listings. I finally realized that the block was the same as the 350 small block it was actually built on. So all parts listings for a 350 were the same as a 400 for that one single year./ "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
