“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!†I made the mistake of using my brain again :( Bad habit. I know. I still keep seeing tons of smart people claiming that Hillary is somehow being "wrongfully victimized". And that could well have been true if it was only Fox News types making allegations but it's not. Hell, even Obama did a pretty good job of ripping her to shreds 8 years ago (and went on to do nothing about it... or change America really... and now the 2 are best buds... but that's another story). So anyway, I'm thinking: "You're a dude... maybe you are biased. What do female millenials have to say?". So I asked Bing. http://www.bing.com/search?q=young+female+voters+bernie+or+hillary And I click on the first link which (for me) is the NYT's "Gloria Steinem and Madeleine Albright Rebuke Young Women Backing Bernie Sanders". ...where there's another pearl of wisdom: “When you’re young, you’re thinking: ‘Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie,’ †Ms. Steinem said. May I say - without pride or prejudice - this lady must have an IQ of a radish. As the Greeks say: "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are" |

“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!†Gloria may well say the same of you if she were to ever read your post. Why can only Fox victimize Clinton? How did Obama rip Clinton to shreds in 2008? When did Bing become the way to establish the views of millenials? When did Steinem and Albright become the spokespeople for millenials? On the plus side, you did recognize you are biased. As for the "quote", seems more likely to be biblical, perhaps a play on Proverbs "Walk with the wise and become wise". I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

This is funny... CNN now projects Clinton will not win in the Electoral College... Her projected 268 Electoral votes is two votes too few. Can you say 'It might go to the US House of Representatives'??? (for only the third time in our history). http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/04/politics/road-to-270-electoral-college-map-november-4-duplicate/index.html Clinton 268, Trump 204... Previous to today, they had Clinton projected to get >270.... https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

Oh. And another random thought... That harebrained idea of open borders? The one championed by Hillary types in pretty much every western country with a large population? The one so badly needed to fuel the Ponzi scheme of taking a population's retirement-contribution money, not actually save it, pretend it's OK to spend it on other stuff and then go "oops. we need more people." Oh I understand why the psychopaths think this is a fantastic idea. I also understand why the "politically correct" crowd falls for this con. What I don't understand is the "WinterKnights". How can someone with above-average intelligence AND a technical background fall for this scam? Why enable the psychopaths? Pascal's (very simple) Law Until you can source that extra workforce you need (to feed the Ponzi scheme you've got going) from outside the pale blue dot... you're going to be stealing it from countries that are faaar worse off than your own. (betreger, please proof that for me I wanna see if I'm missing something) |

As long as one believe in unlimited growth it may work, however with limited resources that is questionable. As an aside whoever wins will be a one term president due to a recession caused by external forces. |

This is funny... CNN now projects Clinton will not win in the Electoral College... This has got the Libertarians peeing their pants with excitement. Bill Weld speaks in Boston tomorrow. I bet he has a thing or two to add to that news. Libertarian Flashmobs are forming all over the country for the next 3 days. I've had 4 invites just today, 2 yesterday. |

1. Boy are you barking up the wrong tree. 2. I wanted to (quickly) check if female millenials support Hillary. Link says 2 out of 3 would rather go for Bernie. 3. We're all biased. 4. Apologies for insulting your friend "Gloria" but when I say something as dumb as, "all the jocks are at Sanders' rallies and all the girls that go there, go there to get laid" then shoot me. I've gone senile. 5. Let me google that for you |

This is funny... CNN now projects Clinton will not win in the Electoral College... We Libertarians don't stand a chance. All we're doing is taking votes away from the two major parties, but we won't win. (Oh wait, The CLYDE has placed me in the lefty liberal camp.) |

And it is thinking like that that means we won't win... Remember, take enough votes away from the Ds and Rs... presto. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

1. The "chance" that I'm excited about (enough to pee a little), is the possibility of getting 5%. The indication that DemReps are having such problems could mean Librts get 5%. That would get us equal footing for future Fed matching funds and allow money to be spent on campaigns early on instead of ballot access petitions in many states. 2. Funny how the brainwashing continues to spread the infectious idea that a vote for Libertarian party principles is taking a vote "away" from someone. 3. Fact is: most people have no real clue what Libertarians believe or why. (the "why" is as important as the "what") They still see only right and left, refusing to realize there is also authoritarian and Libertarian. |

2. Funny how the brainwashing continues to spread the infectious idea that a vote for Libertarian party principles is taking a vote "away" from someone. Well that's an inflammatory statement if I've ever read one. I don't have my opinion because I am brainwashed, and to suggest so is insulting to my intelligence. 3. Fact is: most people have no real clue what Libertarians believe or why. (the "why" is as important as the "what") You do a greater disservice by using inflammatory rhetoric. If you'd like to help people understand our party, best not to start with radically charged words or phrases suggesting or asserting everyone else needs to be "enlightened" in the proper way of thinking. Best to use sound reasoning and rationality instead of insults. The party will never be taken seriously if proponents sound like Jimmy Swaggart. |

I thought your statement that "all we're doing is taking votes away from the two major parties" was a glaring example of what the general media and the DemReps want you to think. I've been fighting against that perception for 36 years. To read someone articulating that statement with the preface, "We Libertarians" was alarming enough to warrant my simple response. Major Kong was much more judicious and gentler in his response. I was not trying to insult you but to rather explain where I believe the sentiment comes from. Further, I stated "MOST PEOPLE" don't know what Libertarians believe or why. From my experiences in the world, that is true. Present company exempt. I did not think my simple paragraph was the place to enumerate the Libertarian principles or to explain the reasoning behind each of them. If you really think I have insulted you and you really think I sound like Jimmy Swaggart... then you have misunderstood both my intent and my meaning. Anyways, thanks for the help and advise. |

Oh. And another random thought... First the present governments do not spend the money collected on other things, it is the problem that previous governments in the early 1900's decided that the present generation of retirement benefits would be paid by the present generation of workers. I and some others worked it out in late 1960's that it was likely that because we the baby boomers were a larger than average generation that come our retirement, there would be a good probability that the working population would be relatively small when the boomers reached retirement. And guess what, it is, the only thing that stopped it being a total disaster is immigrants and their kids. Could successive governments changed the system, so that a generation into it's own pot labeled retirement benefits for them. Possibly but would the people have accepted it, probably not. Because it would have meant that would have to pay twice once for the present day retired and for their own retired years. edit] Might I add that to the governments of the early 1900's it didn't look like a bad idea. People worked over 50 years, from early teens till 65, and had very few years in retirement, if any, average life expectancy in 1910 was under 60 years. So the workers payments would have been small. Nobody had the crystal ball that said there was to be an ever increasing number of scientific discoveries and life expectancy would go up to the present day 80+ years. |

I thought your statement that "all we're doing is taking votes away from the two major parties" was a glaring example of what the general media and the DemReps want you to think. I don't understand how this doesn't sound like a crackpot-ish thing to say. "You only think the way you do because that's what THEY want you to think!" You may as well just say "You're all just sheeple following your lame-stream media Overlords! Come, I'll show you the way!" BTW - the DemReps can just as easily make the same argument about your (our?) positions, thus creating a zero-sum argument. That doesn't sound like a good start to me. |

I thought your statement that "all we're doing is taking votes away from the two major parties" was a glaring example of what the general media and the DemReps want you to think. 1. Why are you assigning my only plausable explanation of your original destructive statement on throwing votes away to positions of the party??? That is a convoluted arguement. 2. You are probably aware that it is NOT what was said by me. You seem to be twisting in the wind. If you really do feel the need to continue rephrasing each sentence I write to make me "sound like Jimmy Swaggart", I'm glad you are entertained. It just seems so negative and dishonest to me. 3. Libertarian Party, "your (our?)" positions are voted upon and ammended in Convention. ............... For others: https://www.lp.org/platform/ Some of these positions will look familiar in parts to both Republican and Democrat. Some points will be totally different than any in other parties. Those points deserve more explanation and thoughtful consideration. |

1. Boy are you barking up the wrong tree. What's the right tree? 2. I wanted to (quickly) check if female millenials support Hillary. Link says 2 out of 3 would rather go for Bernie. What link? Your previous post linked to bing, not to any specific article. Are you referring to the first result of the search or the last? 3. We're all biased. Well done. I noted that it was a plus the first time you noted your own bias. Are you expecting extra credit for restating it in a different way? 4. Apologies for insulting your friend "Gloria" but when I say something as dumb as, "all the jocks are at Sanders' rallies and all the girls that go there, go there to get laid" then shoot me. I've gone senile. Who said anything about "Gloria" being a friend? You made a post that was a series of statements of opinion, Steinem appeared on a TV show and provided her opinion. What makes your opinions any less dumb than Steinem's? 5. Let me google that for you Why do you believe that the results of this search will help me understand what you meant? Are your thoughts at one with how Google ranks results for my searches? There were four question in my previous response: Why can only Fox victimize Clinton? How did Obama rip Clinton to shreds in 2008? When did Bing become the way to establish the views of millenials? When did Steinem and Albright become the spokespeople for millenials? seems it took you 5 points in an attempt to answer one (via a request for me to do research). This is after you said you were "using your brain", thanks for clarifying why you termed that a "bad habit". I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

The NAZI's and the KKK are the ones who've officially thrown their support behind Trump. Also the Russians, only enough, who are working hard to get him elected. Reality Internet Personality |

Pretty good question. Do you think the house would vote for two popular former two-term Republican Govenors from Democratic states? |
