Its not easy to see your mom go slowly. Of course she is at the age when you have to expect that and she had a good life. She is in bed for over 3 years now and it slowly kills everybody to see this. I was hoping that this mother's day thread would be a bit more joyous. But, the truth about having a mother is that we shall all lose her one day. A kitty's blessing on all who have mothers that are in less than good health. And the mothers as well, of course. As I said, at my age of 59, I am very lucky to have my mother here with me, in very good health for her age, and still working at a nursing home to help others who are not so blessed.
