Is it this one? http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=C811FD6B-7E4F-4C02-9839-9C581D7B338C yup that's the one it's on stock settings according to evga precision can't see what it is actually clocked at since i have no wu's on that one and unable to get new ones since it says daily value of 87 exhausted I came down with a bad case of i don't give a crap |

Is it this one? http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=C811FD6B-7E4F-4C02-9839-9C581D7B338C Apparently CUDA v8 doesn't like OCing. I was dealing with this one, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7866790&state=5 SC is 1700MHz, his is 1850. It trashes everything except the immediate Overflows. I found another 560 clocked at 1850 MHz, same thing, trashes every CUDA except the quick overflows. |

What does GPU-Z say about the 780SC? |

All i can tell you is that none of the cards are overclocked they all on default Something's odd then. The defaults for the reference GTX780 are Base clock: 863MHz Boost clock: 900 MHz The EVGA 780 SC being a factory overclock are Base Clock: 967 MHZ Boost Clock: 1020 MHz So something has boosted your clock speed if it is running at 1201 MHz PrecisionX settings? PCIe bus overclock? EDIT- Beaten by TBar. What does GPUz have to say? Grant Darwin NT |

My validation pendings are steadily climbing ... mine, too. The reason might be that the GPUGRID Project seems to be on a halt since 24/4 morning, and so many crunchers using their GPU's have looked for alternative Projects like SETI. |

Does anyone see the same for *MESSIER031* running on the CPU? If finishing in 3 sec with 30 triplets fills the bill, Yeah, got a bunch on CPU and the other three crunchers as well as on GPU. All sitting in Pending, but if what I'm seeing is consistent, will end up invalid. |

All i can tell you is that none of the cards are overclocked they all on default The GTX 750 Ti FTW I have does some kind of self overclocking. It is meant to run at 1189MHz and have a boost of 1268MHz. However once the SETI@home app starts it clocks up from 300MHz to 1189MHz. Then a few seconds later goes to 1345MHz and stays there. Since it hasn't spit out any errors yet I haven't worried about it. The host is a new install of Win7 & only has BOINC, the Nvidia driver, & monitoring apps, like CPUz/GPUz, on it SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

Having a quick look at one machines valids, there were 56 MESSIER031 Nvidia GPU tasks of which 41 overflowed and 14 have apparently run OK So seem to be about two thirds are -9's |

Having a quick look at one machines valids, there were 56 MESSIER031 Nvidia GPU tasks of which 41 overflowed and 14 have apparently run OK I've just been cleaning up a couple of machines, and it seemed like the final two Messier tapes (_18 and _19) were 100% noisy. |

looking at my results, tape 04 seems pretty good, followed by 09, the rest are pure crap. |

well my invalids climbed to 900 tbhe 980's have no bombed wu's but the 780 is just bombing one after another for some reason with 30 pulses overflow dunno if its the noisy tape or not ,....not too familiar how to look that up EDIT: Now the machine is down to 43 tasks a day because of all the crapped out wu's very disappointing I came down with a bad case of i don't give a crap |

First thing I would do with that GPU is set it back to the Nvidia defaults: GTX 780 GPU Engine Specs: 2304CUDA Cores 863Base Clock (MHz) 900Boost Clock (MHz) Instead of what you've got it set to: GPU current clockRate = 1201 MHz Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

It appears that the boys in the lab have done something to prevent downloads of (Nvidia) GPU WUs. If not all, then at least the GB ones and there are none available from Arecibo. Downloads have been working normal for me so I do not think I have done anything to prevent them from downloading. I have currently 100 CPU WUs in progress but only 80 GPU WUs despite asking for them. Edit: Guess I called a "no hitter". Just received a couple of guppi GPU WUs. Not sure why they do not seem to be available in quantity though. |
