Awwwww... what a lovely photograph of your daughters, Julie :) Beautiful, just like their mum! I must admit to liking the article (with it's accompanying picture) of the stick insect too, mainly because I am very, very fond of stick insects and miss finding them around the house like I used to :( Good to see the raccoons weren't foiled too long by the raccoon-proofed bins... yes... this is a catch-up post going back awhile, people - how did you know? They have similar problems baboon-proofing their bins in parts of South Africa. I wonder how the two compare? Has anyone done a study? And if not, why not? oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

Know anything about TL? His rac is taking a nose dive. TL might be leaving for Einstein full time, He mentioned something in the TLPTPW 255 thread. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Know anything about TL? His rac is taking a nose dive. He obviously cares about credit, I don't but I do crunch a lot of Einstein because gravity is very cool. |

Credit is cool, so that is one of the reasons that folks volunteer here. You could say a pure Seti volunteer should not need the joy of seeing how much they are contributing to the project. Heck one could make the same argument for not recording the amounts involved with monies that are donated to the foundation. I don't have money and I like to be able to show to others how well I have been doing over the years. I think the mavens who run all of this might reflect on that! edit: Aww who cares, I'm just a volunteer anyway.... re-edit: I didn't mean that, I love it here, help I can't breath.... help..... |

Me I like to not have My PCs performance slowed down, I can see why TL left. I read in NC that Eric is going to work on a way to make it so that Guppys(Greenbank Data) wu can be refused to be sent to GPUs, they are very slow and don't grant a lot of credit on the gpu and are vlars, which had been earlier banned from GPUs. Me I like processing data as fast as I possibly can, there is nothing wrong with that, I do 2 on My 580(GPU) and 4 on My i7 3820(CPU).
