The cartoons are straying a little too far into politics, so please don't post any more like them in the Café.

Did anybody go see the movie today?

Ol Pookers and I don't like lines, so we will wait until after the holidays.

I don't like lines or densely packed theaters, so I thought I would wait a few days. However, I'm rethinking that just because I'm afraid of it getting spoiled before I see it.

I'm waiting too, I'll probably see the movie in July, I'm in no rush...

Episode 7, The Force Awakens, has been released to theaters I've read.

The Big Bang Theory tonite featured the group going to the premier of the movie with Will Wheaton. It was really funny.

@Angela.
Ya. I went. The theater was showing it all day long. So no lines or packed seats. I chose the 10:45pm show. I got the 3D ticket, large bucket of popcorn and large drink. I got kicked in the change purse. I didn't check but I think it left a blood trail behind me ($30 USD).
Now "The Force" was good. But not that good. But good. Now we have to wait for the next movie.

Berkeley Breathed's Bloom County "spoiler time" for the movie (lol):

Typical Bloom County. Funny.

I'm waiting til after the new year has passed and all the kiddies are either back at school or at work.

Many years ago I and a few friends always went to the first showing locally of the first three movies in the series. Even if it meant taking an afternoon off from work.

Admiral!!!! :-O

Next time, go to your local COSTCO and buy the Movie Passes that they sell for your local theater. For me the passes are Regal Movie Passes; however, based upon location, yours may be AMC, or Century/Cinemark... No matter which ones they are, you will get a BIG discount over the Theater's price.

What usually happens is, you present your discounted pass - ($10 Value for my Regal Pass), and if you are seeing IMAX and 3D, the Theater will charge you $6.50 more... That's a total of $16.50 for Regal IMAX 3D, instead of the $30 that you spent!!! :-) These passes are good EVEN if/when a Theater says NO PASSES!!!

My friend and I did this a couple weeks ago to get our tickets for Star Wars on the 19th at 11:20 IMAX 3D showing at the Dublin, Regal IMAX Theater. So, in future, get your Discount Passes!!! :-)

Of course, you have to be a member of Costco. I dropped it after one year because I didn't think I got my money's worth in discounted shopping.

The ticket was $12.54 at Regal. The rest was popcorn and drink.

Well, Non-discounted IMAX 3D ticket prices here are $21.00; so, you got off cheap. :-)

The movie is in Barstow at the Drive in @ 7pm(No way would I brave the cold air in My car for 2 hours, brr) and at Barstow Station Theater, I used to be able to get prices without calling now I can't kind of moot since I don't have the price of a ticket, change and almost anything that isn't large enough will fall thru the holes that are in My pockets or on the upper edge or are forming in My pockets, yeah I know I need 3 pairs of new jeans, but that is for later in 2016, I just don't feel like sewing the holes up.
