And yes I have seen the films in order. A lot of folks didnt like the last 3 movies. I did. For me it filled in a lot of the back story that was never explained in the first 3 movies. Agreed. I really enjoyed Episodes 1, 2, and 3 (I prefer to refer to them in numerical order to avoid confusion). I think my favorites of the series so far are 3 and 6. My only real complaint about any of it was that the pod race sequence took up far too much screen time in the first Episode that would have been better off developing more of Darth Maul's character since it was so short-lived. Usually, around every May 4th (May the 4th be with you!), I like to get up early and watch all 6 of them in order from Episode 1 to 6. Haven't done it in the past two years though. Michele gets annoyed because she really dislikes the Episodes 1 through 3. ID: 1741194 ·

I even worked up a guess at the main plot of the movie based on it. Now I see it's not an official trailer. https://youtu.be/tUW7EDJmWUA if you want to see it anyway. Still, I might as well give my plot guess. You may not want to read beyond this point. . . . Kylo Ren worships Vader and wants or already considers himself to be a Sith apprentice. He has taken over/reactivated the Imperial clone army. He is also seeking Luke, thinking that the son of Vader must be a Sith master and can make him a true apprentice. Luke will show up toward the end and tell him he's wrong, which he will take badly, leading to two more movies before he is defeated or converted. All the rest of it with the other characters is them becoming or rebecoming heroes as they struggle against Ren's evil.
