Thanks, everybody. And I have an idea for a target.

TL: if the servers are still having trouble here (are they? I'm not paying attention), it might be a good opportunity for you to get a bit of RAC at Beta and/or Einstein so you can post again. The TLP thread at Beta is really languishing.

Outta here in 11!

I'm out, My crippled motherboard can only do Seti@Home and then just barely.

Well, so far, SETI is stable for me. I'm not out of work, on either machine...

Early evening win.

Power outage didn't happen, at least not on my circuuit. Saw several major intersections with "STOP" signs in place of operating signals, but no disruptions in my neighborhood. Lost 10 hours of crunching time, but better safe than sorry.

Now what do I want to do for dinner?

So that's why My power failed in part of the house today. ;)

I was vacuuming some debris up and I stopped to change the bag and I noticed the power was out in the bathroom(the cat box and vacuum were out), later I noticed the bedroom heater had been reset(had been set and running at about 76F, then reset when I reset the 20A breaker), so one 20A breaker controls 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of these days I'm going to have to hire an electrical contractor, if I'm still living here by then that is. I'm running out of places where I can plug the vacuum into power.

Just turn off the heater before you run the vacuum. The house won't drop below freezing that fast, plus the exercise of vacuuming will keep you warm.

Yeah, I will do that next time, since I did not know the bedroom and bathroom on one end of the home were connected to the other bedroom and bathroom on the opposite end of the home electrically, in between is the washroom, kitchen and living room with their circuits.
