Due to the fact that the news says that there will be NO "COLA" adjustment for 2016 in SSDI benefits; I had to make a change in my Medicare Part D Insurance to account for the upcoming increase in my Medicare Supplement Premiums for 2016. My new Part D goes into effect 12-1-2015; and due to "Extra Help" that I get from Soc. Sec., Monthly Premiums for December 2015, and all of 2016 will be at $0.00 for me. This yields a current savings of $48.70 that I personally pay on my current Part D insurance. After offsetting changes to Dental, new Vision, and Part D insurances; I will have $34 to put toward the upcoming increase in my Medicare Supplement insurance. If this turns out NOT to be enough; I'm going to have to supplement the $34 by cutting back what I pay monthly to other bills and shunt that to the Medicare Supplement plan. Being poor SUCKS!!! :-( However; I do my best to make due. :-/ Back at the top, and WINNING!!!!! :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

I agree poverty sucks. I try to avoid it whenever I can. Yeah it sucks, it sucks more when things break and the money just isn't there, I have a front door with locks that needs new locks, there goes about $118.80, then there is My Netgear 3500 router, Netgear routers in California are dropping internet connections at random on TWC's network(My ISP), so I'm directly connected to My SB6121 modem and so running more than 1 PC is impossible, at least until I get a non-Netgear router and right now I can't do that, I could also use some pads to clean My linoleum floors with, 3 washable pads would cost Me $20.05 total, all this has to wait until January 2016, since I have $102.65 in Property taxes to pay for and 2 mouths to feed and house... I also have to eventually have a locksmith come out and replace all 5 interior door knobs, why have a locksmith do this? Simple, I live in and own a mobile home, the interior doors are where the maker cut corners, off the shelf hardware won't work without a locksmith, since I do not have the tools or skills to alter a door with... Sucks is an understatement, I could use an extra $200.00 a month, since I get chicken feed, yeah that's $889.40 a month... Plus My gas furnace is OUT, that would cost $1821.11 to replace w/a new gas furnace and a new thermostat, I'm on a waiting list for a new one, but for the moment I'm using two Lasko Digital Ceramic electric heaters to keep from effin Freezing My ASS off.
