It looks like you live in a very beautiful part of the country. My roommate was from there and I spent a fair amount of time there while we visited her daughter. I thought it might be Oklahoma but then I though no, it can't be because the dirt wasn't quite red enough but I guess I was wrong. I washed so much of the red mud off the motor home!!! |

Grade one slap-head here - not enough to do anything with apart from keep the little that remains in some sort of order with the hedge (aka beard) trimmer - and to think that at one time I had long dark hair, so long that I could sit on it! Damned Hippie! ~Sue~ |

I'm planning to buy a Flowbee Haircutting System. The online reviews I've read say it works very well. Of course I'll post before and after pix, if anyone is interested. ~Sue~ |

I'm planning to buy a Flowbee Haircutting System. The Do you know any Haircutting Systems for poodles? Their hair is really thick and you cannot use a scissor. Tosca says Arf Arf. |

Not strictly a critter, but here's a live webcam on the blooming Amorphophallus titanum (Corpse Flower) at the Denver Botanic Gardens. 5 feet tall and stinks like a dead body, but beautiful. I'm still catching up with this thread. There is also one of those plants, named Spike, at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. I believe they said they will pollinate it with frozen pollen from one in San Diego. I'm planning to buy a Flowbee Haircutting System. The I have had my flowbee for about 25 years now. About 10 years ago, I got the flowbee brand vacuum and new spacer kit. I still use it. |

Pollen was extracted from 'Stinky' yesterday and frozen for distribution to gardens around the country. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

I really enjoy the 'talking heads' on news programs when they try to translate the Latin botanical name for the plant. Amorphophallus Titanum. Linguistic analysis of the first name makes most reporters very nervous when 'on air'. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |
