Best wishes Grant, and do be careful. It's good hearing your keystrokes.

Oh Grant, good to see your posts.
Falls are a huge danger for us
as time wears on, do try hard to
use what ever you have to guard
against these falls. Hang in there
Buddy!

Good to hear it Grant. Here is a laugh to cheer you up" Damn twerp!

Giggle

Who? The mayor or the artist?

I vote mayor :) Even little ones work out pretty quickly that metal gets hot in the sun. Slides do, and whilst I admit it's been awhile since I've gone down one *sad sigh* I've seen no equivalent sign in playgrounds. Maybe as we go grow older we forget? :)

I will say though that praise is definitely merited for actually leaving a space next to the sculpture - you know - to park bottoms on. The ones on the benches in the Docklands area do not! *glare in direction of Canary Wharf and it's environs* No. You have to perch on the statues' heads to park.

@Grant. That beer is going to taste great when you do have it :)

EDIT: but it doesn't hurt to take precautions I suppose - and I did grow up in Africa - where everything gets hot - even wood. So... I vote no one :)

G'morning everyone, from a very frosty start in the highlands down under.

It's good to see that you're hanging in there Grant and that 1st beer will taste so good.

G'day to you too Annie, no more accidents happening there I hope.

Sorry that I havn't been around for a while, but I've been sort of tied up here with things.

Anyhow Beer O'clock is still around 5hrs away so I'd better get myself another coffee.

Cheers.

I'm sure it will be Grant. :-D

I've finally caught up on my housework over the last 2 days (as well as putting down another spirit wash yesterday) from my time away so I may just decide to start Beer O'clock 30mins early and relax for a while. ;-)

Cheers.

I guess you get to actually drink the brew on a beer tour, unlike a wine tour, ;~)

I'm so lucky living in Denver. The Beer Tour comes to us every Fall with The Great American Beer Festival. This gathering of the premier breweries both macro and micro is amazing. In years past the event sold out in 1/2 hour as the attendance was limited to 48,000 tickets due to capacity limits on the venue. This year that capacity was raised to 60,000 attendees and the Festival sold out in the same time period.

Here's the link so you can plan to try and obtain tickets to the 2016 GABF.

G'morning (what's left of it anyway) everyone.

With the foul weather outside today I may get to have a quiet day for a change.

3hrs to go until Beer O'clock.

Cheers.
