Message 1817957 - Posted: 18 Sep 2016, 2:06:41 UTC - in response to Message 1817890.

It appears the 33 disc set is OOP and the original pressing is with that moon cover. The 22 disc set is what replaced it with less discs, 22. So I am not sure if the 33 disc set has better picture quality or the 22 disc set is on dual-layer DVD's. Both have different covers.

I would personally select the OOP 33 disc set, it's original from Sony.

here is the release date and UPC #'s.
10/15/13 - 043396428317 - studio: Sony
10/6/15 - 683904111708 - studio: Mill Creek

Hope this helps with your decision.

I have been catching up on 'The Kettering Incident' filmed in Tasmania. Two more episodes to go. It's well done so I hope the final episode is up to scratch and isn't corny.

Thanks, Lynn. I'm not sure because I haven't been able to find the answer online, but I think the 22 discer may be using both sides of the disc. I did find something that said the Mill Creek version(22 discs) retained the first two seasons of black & white rather than colorizing them, so I'm going with that.

I sure hope to. I loved that series, and even though you can watch reruns online and even catch some old episodes on cable tv, it's nice to have commercial-free discs and sit back on the couch and relax.

I'm re-watching Blair Witch Project, and just coincidentally found out a sequel is in the theatres, now. I might go to see that tomorrow.

World Cup Hockey!
Team North America 1 over Team Russia no score.
All the games have been pretty good, but you can
see that that the level of play will be going up as
the players get more used to each other. This is
where the national teams would seem to have an advantage
just due the fact that they play together more often.
There, the Russians just got a well deserved goal, it
is now one to one in score, second period.

edit:
Oops, the Russians just poped in another one, score: 2 to 1 Russia........

re-edit:
Whoops, I almost forgot, Arrrrr....

Just started watching "Boss". It's a two season series, starring Kelsey Grammer. Not sure what channel it originated on, but the main reason I picked it up at the library is because the lead character is experiencing Lewy Body Dementia, which is something I think my mother might have.
