If Dr. Ben Carson can figure out how to separate conjoined twins (at the top of the head) with his team, he can figure out anything happening from the viewpoint of the POTUS--and I believe he would do a better job at it because he has proven he has the capacity to use reason, logic and common sense. And he'll be able to do things for different reasons, better reasons, moral reason, and higher reasons.

Which is exactly why is unsuited for politics. Neuro surgery is extremely difficult and certainly demands a very skilled person to do, but its simple in the sense that there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. If you do it right, the patient lives and is hopefully cured, if you do it wrong the patient may end up with brain damage and possibly dies.

Politics? There is no easy right and wrong, there are options and almost all of those options are firmly grey. They have positive sides and negative sides. And its nearly impossible to accurately predict how those positive and negative sides evolve over time. What could look like a good idea at the moment you implement it may turn out to have very negative side effects over time.

Which is also the reason that rocket scientists do not make good politicians. Both of them, doctors and scientists, will look for a single technical "right way" to get something done. In politics, there is never a "right way" only dirty underhanded methods that occasionally get results. Now department head on a project, that is where science types can shine.

Politics. You can't be center in the primary. Everyone gets the center vote and you need more votes than everyone else. You have to be extreme to win in the primary. So extreme you convince the extremists to show up at the voting booth and cast their ballot. Then the very next day discard all those extreme positions as utter BS and get as close to dead center as possible to win in the general election. Isn't the two party winner take all system fun?!

Meh, remember last time? At some point every front runner was a favorite for like a week and then they said something dumb or embarrassing and then they lost the lead. Of course, this guy banks on saying stupid things, but there are limits to what even he can say. And the less careful he is about running his mouth the more likely it becomes he reaches the point where he goes to far.

And if by some chance he wins the primaries, its almost a sure victory for the Democrats.

I thought Trump lacked finesse talking about the bankruptcy thing, but then I can't believe I just used the word finesse and Trump in the same sentence. ;~)

I thought Rubio, Christie, and Carson presented themselves well.
