What is the alternative to lawyers, as you say they are trained win the argument.
But they don't often lie, they may miss some of it out, stretch or distort the truth.
But Trump just lies.

And don't say the equivalent of Oxfords PPE degree. A "Jack of all Trades, Master of None" qualification. Which is where a lot of our politicians come from.

My, oh my.
It seems as if I have projected my own values in a subjective way.

I was brought up to understand that:
To stretch or distort the truth is to lie.
I thought it was common knowledge that lawyers are professional liars.
I take it then that lawyers, politicians and used car salesmen are no longer considered in that same group?
Funny how the world changes without telling me.

I will try to be more objective here... but it's so darn difficult to respond to many of the outrageous comments with calm and less subjectivity.

And now for something completely different...

http://www.multichannel.com/news/networks/fox-news-cnn-blocked-directv-second-day/408896

ROFLMAO.

Perhaps the directv staff are getting as tired of things T vs. C as I am... and switched off Fox and CNN out of spite... Again... for the 2nd day...

That, or it was the ebul Russian h4x0rz doing it.

<snicker>

Seriously, I just got home from visiting a friend at a nursing home. The residents there are on the verge of a mutinous insurrection over it.

Edit: or another possibility... CNN today is reporting Trump gaining in the polls. Turning off CNN to cover that up, and also turning off Fox, cause they will be reporting that too...

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

On Oct. 22, it was reported 45% of Republicans would not accept the results if Trump loses while 16% of Democrats would not if Clinton loses. http://www.wcnc.com/news/politics/voters-wont-accept-election-results/340144453. I heard similar numbers this morning but did not memorize them before trying something. The one number overall was that of all people, 25% would not accept. I do not have numbers for those supporting Johnson or Stein refusing to accept results if they lose. Still, let's say Jonhnson and Stein are polling at a total of about 8%. Solve 0.45x + 0.16(0.92-x) = 0.25, where x represents the percent of Trump supproters. x = 0.354483, i.e., about 35%, which is about what I said a few weeks ago.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Just shows how well the voodoo economics of trickle down works. The amazing thing is how rapidly the middle class has been voluntarily raped.

I know. I'm constantly amazed at how people like Guy are willing to do anything to remain in the bondage of slavery to their corporate masters, like Donald Trump.

I agree with Gary. The Government of the Ruling Few should take over the corporations and end this slavery. We want new masters NOW!

What exactly does 'Not Accepting' mean?

As far as I can tell, 'Not Acepting' seems to mean that they will assume that the election was "stolen" or fraud was involved. Yeah, just like the Gorevians still squeal about.

I really expect little bits of cheating and fraud to take place at local levels on "both" sides. The kind of 'cheating' that would make any difference at all would most likely involve hacking and would turn up sooner rather than later as provable.
The only reason I see as 'Not Accepting' is the obvious colusion of paid-for media involvement. That is apparently endemic with the duopoly of DemReps. but that's just me.

If neither of the two fat cats can get 270 electoral votes, I'm certain the noise of the Not-Accepting crowd to be deafening.

Hmmm... I just had another random thought. Anyone think that either of these 2 are going to last more than one term?

And then another one: What if something happens to 'em? Those VPs are Dumb and Dumber. Scary too..

That's just one person.

Disregarding the few crazy's on both sides:

Per Clyde all left/right are crazy. At least that is what everyone has taken away from your frequent posts.

Are you sure either could last a full term?

Please tell me what to do and how to do it from cradle to grave, workplace to bedroom, and make everything a 100% guarantee.

If private individuals own/control corporations... you MIGHT be made a slave.

If the Government owns/controls corporations... you ARE a slave.

Though, I think you are being sarcastic and understand this already, from your next sentence (especially the cradle-to-grave part)...

Major the numbers don't lie. The fact someone who is so apparently smart chooses to favor such an arcane path befuddles me.

Who owns the corporations? State government employee pension plans perhaps?

If the Corporation is an ESOP owned entity, who is Master/Slave? A business structure that is usually overlooked or discounted I feel is the real way to equitably distribute the profit from a Capitalist enterprise.

I see the British SCOTUK

W.T.F is that ??? Don't exist over here , try High court and that ain't the highest court in this country !!!

It doesn't?. Looks like it's been around since 2005.

Donald Trump have been to the UK Supreme Court but lost the battle to stop wind farm near his Scottish golf resort:)

You’ve Been Trumped Too: it’s the film Donald Trump doesn’t want you to see

In the summer of 2010 I interviewed Michael Forbes on his salmon-fishing boat, and he mentioned in passing that they had no running water. Trump’s workers had apparently cut through a pipe leading from the spring that serves the Forbes’s well. The result was that Michael, his wife Sheila and Michael’s mother, Molly, were without running water. This had been going on for a week. And what had Trump done about it? Nothing, according to the Forbes.

Old fashioned intimidation to drive people off their land. This behaviour used to be the purview of the bad guys in old westerns. Instead of sending in Clint Eastwood to take him down, America is about to vote for him as thier president.

And are you naive enough to believe that the owner of MANY business endeavors is aware of EVERYTHING that occurs in those businesses at all times? By the same logic, if Trump is the villain here, then B. Hussein O'Bummer and his business, the Democratic Party, is the responsible villain in the Flint drinking water with lead 'additives'.

And the film Hiliary DEFINITELY doesn't want you to see.......

Now, now.

I'm sure if Donald Trump had been made aware that Michael Forbes, his wife Sheila and Michael’s mother, Molly, were without running water that he would have gathered up his plumbing tools and jetted over to fix the pipe himself.
