11/8/16.............

Baffled why you would think I had any part in your country's fiasco that day, or any of the myriad before it.

and not boy to you, rather Sir.

"Good fellow" is not a formal means of address here. Perhaps you did not know that? Sir ;-)

Well, I know what Trump's foreign policy SHOULD be. The logical course of action is to buddy up with Russia against the PRC. Of course, this means throwing Europe under the bus, but then Europe refuses to stand up against Russia anyway.

It is likely to turn into Greater Russia vs. Greater USA vs. Greater China the way things are going now. Globalism is dead. It would benefit the USA to cozy up to Czar Putin and thereby be on the winning side.

Yep, America/Russia powerbloc v RotW could probably quieten down the Middle East & that would also make China stop & think - job done.

As for Europe, they're crapping their pants already :-)

Where did she say that?

Quoting an article with header such as that & no personal comment on it?

What else can one think?

Also, I was asking a question, not stating that was her view.

Countless Acts Of Hate Have Been Carried Out Since Trump’s Win

So you're saying it's Trump's fault?

I'm saying him running on an openly racist ticket has created an atmosphere where this sort of thing has been given tacit permission.

That may be true, but that article did say "countless" yet no numbers provided.

As one of the comments to that article stated "Trump just took advantage of what was already there"

Why was that?

Personally I think the main reason for Brexit 1 & Brexit 2 was what many have been saying for several years...

"Those in power have become complacent & out of touch with the people they rule"

23/6 & 8/11/16 is the result.

Good or bad, that is what it is. It's no good crying over spilt milk.

If all those complaining on both sides of the Atlantic want to prevent it happening again, just get their act together & ensure that as many vote as possible as voting does count.

Many of the ones doing the complaining are the young, but many did not vote.

The result is what we are now seeing - The question is will they learn from that mistake?

Yes I did see what you did :-)

You're basing your edit on one incident?
Again, how is that Trump's fault?

The problem is that those at the top are forgetting that any top cannot be there without a solid base, with levels between the base & top.

Making the base & to a degree, the various levels suffer because of bad decisions at top has proven disastrous in the past.

Are we doomed to repeat that?

Are you suggesting that all students are under 18? :-)

200/201 are hardly "countless"

This was one almighty, two-fingered salute to much of the "mainstream media".

It has highlighted one worrying trend:

"The need for headlines that bring clicks and stories that get shared has changed everything. Dull, balanced articles (like this one) don't provoke fury, laughter or much in the way of emotion.

Trump was simply more entertaining and generating more passion. In a news environment moving from a world of subscriptions and long-term appointments-to-view to the vagaries of clicks, friends' recommendations and Facebook news streams, that makes him a winner."

Is bribery "high crimes and misdemeanors"?

We already knew this http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/cover_story/2016/10/was_a_server_registered_to_the_trump_organization_communicating_with_russia.html

I know..but others don't seem to have taken it in.

I don't think they have been able to realize they elected a pinko

In sheer disgust I propose , that on t shirts bumper stickers and in the write in section of ballots, "vote none of the above".
I think if none of the above should win that new candidates should be required
in a vary short new election.
any body have ideas or comments?
