170 of them now, but I'm pushing them through.

Cheers.

Some of you are certainly pretty lucky. Once again, I was absolutely not paying any attention whatsoever and I pulled up task manager to look at the network graphs and noticed the CPU usage was way higher than I expected it to be. Took a look at that tab and saw AP running. !!!!! wow! It's been absolutely forever since I've gotten any.

I had no idea there was a frenzy today, otherwise I would have been babysitting even a little bit to try to get more than the 9 that I got.

I guess I should pay more attention now, because hopefully there's more '17 tapes than just the ones that got loaded, although I know telescope time for work that we can use is very limited these days. I shall pay closer attention a bit better for the short-term future.

You got your wish. More '17 tapes loaded and currently splitting more AP work.

I see that. I'm being very vigilant with it at the moment.

I've found in the past that asking for too many seconds of work results in not getting anything, so you have to adjust the cache settings to keep under ~175,000 seconds for a request and increase the cache size after you get more work.

I ended up grabbing 49. There's still a few channels left to split, so I may pick up one or two more.

This was a good run.

Well I've got another 80 odd of them since my last post here and seeing as they're still being split I would expect a few more yet.

Cheers.

This is a very good run. I might actually fill a 10-day cache with the way I keep grabbing 1-3 every 2-4 requests. I'm up to about 65 in total now for this run, and the creation rate is still ~1.4/sec.

It's been well over a year since I had a good cache of 'em like this. Can't wait for AP to start being made for GBT data.

Does anyone know why AP tasks only stick around for about 2 days before they are purged, while MB tasks about 7 days?
Or is it - Just because, LOL.

I think I wuz just Robbed. Seems two of these Windows ATI machines that are producing LOW signal counts conspired against my Linux machine.

Looking at One of those machines it seems it is producing too Few signals;

How many more of these are cross-validating?

I see some strange things going on. These two WUs validated on the first try even though the results are different. This is Not supposed to happen;

https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2576360582
The NV card found 2 & 0, the AMD found 0 & 0 and it was validated without being sent to a third Host?
WTH?

Here's another Robbery; https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2577500000
AstroPulse v7 Anonymous platform (NVIDIA GPU)
single pulses: 0
repetitive pulses: 2
percent blanked: 0.00

AstroPulse v7 v7.10 (cuda_opencl_100) windows_intelx86
Found 30 single pulses and 30 repeating pulses, exiting.
percent blanked: 0.00

AstroPulse v7 v7.09 (opencl_ati_100) windows_intelx86
single pulses: 0
repetitive pulses: 0
percent blanked: 0.00

The two Windows machines Validated.
I've seen a few other similar cases, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2577333390 & https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2576352412
At this point, not knowing how long this has been occurring, I'm going to say the AP database is hopelessly Polluted.
