For all those who like Pluto(Info here), Dwarf or not, here it was on June 25th and June 27th, Closest approach is on July 14th, this pic was 11 million miles away. Each of the spots is about 300 miles in diameter, with a surface area that's roughly the size of the state of Missouri. You may pick your collective jaws off the floor now. Since the plane thread is locked, I'll stick this here. 2014 field trip, I'm the second from the right. Do the orange flight suits signify plane crew, and the others passengers? Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Got this from the Einstein board: That's not just any Anti-Aircraft gun either, that was/is a much feared 88mm gun, which was also good at killing allied tanks, Shermins were known as Ronsins for a reason. Here's the tank, minus treads on the wheels, a Panther Tank, which has either a 75mm high velocity gun or an 88mm gun, I think that's a 75mm gun, either is/was deadly to WWII allied tanks. The man is suspected of serious gun crime, a crime that provides between 1 and 4 years in prison. According to the indictment, the man had the following in his home: https://translate.google.se/translate?hl=sv&sl=sv&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.svt.se%2Fnyheter%2Fregionalt%2Fjonkoping%2Fvapensamlaren-atalas-for-grovt-vapenbrott |

No hard and fast rules these days. Usually the colour of the suit is some history, i.e. where were you when you bought the suit. Everybody in the picture got several flights on this trip. The orange suits are civilian FTEs, the military looking suits are serving or ex-military, the two guys in civvies got dressed in a hurry that day. Left to right: Orange suit is a student FTE working for a civilian contractor; then an ex-Turkish AF student FTP working for same contractor; the guy in civvies is a Calspan instructor FTE; serving Korean AF student FTE; civilian contractor student FTE who didn't like orange; ex-Turkish AF student FTP; me as an instructor FTE in my faded old MBB suit; and finally the Calspan FTP, ex-USN. |

Meanwhile in stately Wayne Manor, Bruce and his youthful ward Dick Grayson await the Bat Signal. I actually got to see Burt Ward in costume as 'the Boy Wonder' or 'Robin', the Joker called Robin 'the Boy Blunder' of course, live in the LA memorial coliseum back in the days when the series was still being filmed, He was driving the Batmobile from one corner of the coliseum to the 50 yard line, there were 100 kids and their adult escorts, Batman(Adam West) was Supposed to show up, but was afraid of being typecast(too late), one of these days I need to go thru the slides My Dad took and see if He brought the camera of His along or not, He was a car nut, so He might have. How do you tall men fit in that tiny plane???!!! You crawl through a short doorway, then crawl down the aisle to your seat. No worse than getting into the back seat of most cars, it is just a bit further from the door to the seat. It is fairly comfortable once you are in - depending on what the pilots get up to. |

How do you tall men fit in that tiny plane???!!! The Calspan one holds a crew of 4 or 5, depending on the amount of test gear inside. The aircraft can't receive fuel, in that photo they were testing new digital control laws for receiver aircraft closing on the tanker. |
