AP : "In progress" results seem not to be displayed anymore.

I can see my "waiting for validation" results, but neither my overall result list nor the host result list show the ones I received within the last hour (p.s.: should be 7 in progress at the moment).

p.s.: I just see it is discussed in the "Panic Mode On (97) Server Problems?" too. So this thread here can be considered redundant - but otoh. that other thread is a "catch-all", so stuffed with all kinds of things not related to eachother that I rarely read it.

records... I'm concerned as well...

No, it is just the logging not working.
All results are still there.

None of my tasks listed in boinc manager show up as in progress. Nothing I have reported today shows up either. Still being sent tasks. Should I leave off processing them for the moment?

The display of host or task status is not a critical portion, or even a requirement, for the project to run.

Actually the server doesn't even need to be on while you processes your tasks. So why would you stop processing them?

Sorry. I'm new. Still learning :) I've seen mention of putting pressure on servers etc and thought I'd just check if this was such an occasion. Glad it isn't and thanks for your help.

Generally the "pounding" the servers take is from the several hundred thousand computers all trying to contact the servers at once. There are mechanisms built into the BOINC client to help reduce that automatically. Using back-off delays on the client when it can't connect to the servers in a timely fashion.

The design of BOINC accounts for servers not having 99.999% uptime. So unless there is an announcement from a project to stop doing work. Which I don't believe I have ever seen from SETI@home. You can have your client humming along happily until it can call home again.

When things like this happen, one of the first places to look is the current "Panic Mode" thread in this section of the Forums. Those of us who pay close attention to the servers and other processes will usually post in that thread as soon as they notice a problem. The current issue seems to be the BOINC Replica database. See my message here.

You might also visit the Server Status Page, via the link on the Seti@Home front page, although it may take you awhile to make sense of it......

Not sure if this is similar to this thread or not, but I seem to have at least five results that have been reported back but show as "in progress". Did they take a wrong turn at Albequerque? I'd LIKE to have the credit for them, but more important they get reported regardless, I should think. Here's a list of the task numbers:

If you actually look at the task links you'll find the first one has credit, while all the others have already been completed and have been purged from the Boinc database:

Hi, the server for viewing the results is still disabled.

Status page has the replica database back online and catching up with the master. Individual results seem to be updating (but still not up-to-date of course).

As of 13 May 2015, 2:50:04 UTC the replica database is about 33 hours behind the master server. It will be interesting to see how long it till take to catch up.

Any guesses if it will be hours or days?

At the rate it has been reducing, 8 hours or less.

The Usual

Lack of AP's unless your getting some. I have had 2 in the last 2 weeks. Although I don't have AP's flagged as primary just checked as i have MB's
