Well, of course a drive-in, is a hang-out, where you eat in your car at the restaurant, while a drive-thru is get your food and drive out.

Whats the difference?
Driving and eating a burger and perhaps drinking some beverages in the same time instead of parking your car and doing the same...

If you want to know the difference, watch American Graffiti. Those were drive-INs.

I have seen that Movie.
And this hang-out:)

Drive-throughs have generally replaced drive-ins in popular culture, and are now found in the vast majority of modern American fast-food chains.

We are starting to see them in the UK now. Although we don't have as many bored teenagers with nowhere to go, or overweight citizens too lazy to get out of their cars. Give it time though.

Hold the mayo, to go, have a good day :-)

What about drive-in theaters? Do you have any of those?

They are all gone but one many miles away from me. Years ago one every 5 miles and now all far and few between.

I really do wish there was a block on posting Youtube videos, it's getting to epidemic proportions across all the forums.

You taking a poke at ME, Chris?
I post a lot of youtube vids.
My way of sharing what I know and what I have experienced in this life.
Some are mundane, some are special.

If you do not like it, don't click on my links. Or just block me.
Many have.

Very simple.

I may have started the wave you are experiencing.

Not sorry for that bit.

Meow, kiddo.

Those were the good ol' days, dg. There's still a drive-in on my way to work, called, Dizzy Whiz.

There is still drive-thrus here in Sweden:)

Named after the effect it has on you?

The 'foreigners' didn't invent Bangers and Mash and you can't say that and a pint doesn't put some heft in your anchor.

After a good Friday night out in the sticks I was dropped back at the bottom pub this afternoon for a few hours. :-D

Sadly C.W. No.2 caught up with me, so now I'm making the most of my time before she turns up here.

I've time now for a quick bite to eat and a quick shower before I'm in trouble. ;-)

Cheers.

I know that there are some fellows would love my problems, but there are times when it's just a bit too much.

Cheers.
