Ok My next PC(Under Construction, nearly complete, replacement for Galactica) has just one Silverstone ST1500 Silver 1500w psu(220mm long), this next PC is a replacement for My current PC. The 2nd PC(Under Construction, Pegasus) has a Thermaltake 650w Toughpower Power Express(video card psu in two drive bays) and will have either an Enermax Revolution85+ 1050w psu(that needs the main 24 pin connector repaired, 190mm) or an EVGA SuperNOVA 1050w psu(170mm) w/an Add2Psu to link the two psus together. The 3rd PC(Under Construction, Prometheus) will either have a Silverstone ST1500 Gold 1500w psu(180mm) or an EVGA 1600w G2 psu(200mm).. I know sounds like a shipyard, can't be helped really. I got some more work done and then 3 lugs broke off on the front panel on the right, only the 3 lugs on the left are holding the front on now, but the 12awg cable is in there. I had to enlarge the existing hole/wire pass through to allow the 12awg cable and the cable for the front leds to both fit and for the plastic front to sit flat on the metal part of the case. I had to cut out about 1/16" more in width and cut about 1/8" more in depth. The left. The right side and the C20 end of an 8' long 12awg electrical cord. Here's the 2nd part that I modified in order for the 12awg cord to fit in front. The 1500w Silverstone ST1500 Silver psu and the new cable. It's a good thing this cord isn't any bigger, as the cord almost doesn't fit now.. If it wasn't for the cord on the top of the case, you wouldn't know where the power cord is at. The back with no visible psu(outside of the cord), no mods were done to the top or the back, the 12awg cord just fits around the fans. Apparently an Azza GT1 case for the 3rd PC with a 3 fan door from an Azza 9000B case to replace the windowed door, I need the 3rd fan more than a large clear window.. Of course current events have forced a delay in getting this case, My TV blew a lamp today. Azza GT1 case, the successor to the Azza 9000B case. In case anyone wants to see the guts of this PC, Here is a shot with 2 cards installed, a PNY LC GTX 580 in the top slot and an EVGA GTX 570 in the bottom slot. The psu is a 1500w Silverstone ST1500 Silver psu, all 220mm of it, but then to power 4 GTX 580/570 cards this is the power that's needed. A 2nd GTX 580 is an EVGA Black Ops GTX 580 card, it needs an NZXT X41 cpu cooler, I have an adapter ring for this conversion, I'll also have to buy a pair of (UN)Design drive bay brackets to use the 140mm radiator in the case and 3 6pin pcie to 8pin pcie Y-adapter cables, which I'll get asap. The 4th card is a Zotac GTX 580 Infinity(with an EVGA firmware), that card is in My current PC will need the radiator cleaned before I mount that card in the new PC and that will most likely be done before the Black Ops has a new Radiator. The motherboard is an EVGA X79 Classified w/an i7 3820 cpu, though the Bios is compatible with the 4820K cpu as well. I'll show an updated pic of the inside on Friday and some additional work then too. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Here's an update on the work I've done so far: I installed the 200mm fan grill on this 200mm fan that has RED Leds... Fans are installed in case and on door, all fans are hooked up to power(not all are pictured). The Cooler Master fan is set to blow into the case, as are the 2 Koolance 120x25mm 108cfm fans. I did notice the fan wire being between the door and the fan, I fixed that already after the pic was taken, so no worries. Inside of case prior to installation of fans on door and power cable to fans. Notice no 12awg power cable in the interior of the case? Here's why the power cable is not in the motherboard area. Nice and neat, up the front and over the top, only the front panel had to have an existing hole widened and deepened some to accommodate this mammoth cable.. My other computer that I do work on a little at a time is a HAF-X filled PC with an Asus Rampage III Extreme motherboard inside, with i7 940 cpu(speed: 2.93GHz, socket: LGA 1366), both the cpu and chipset have water blocks on them. This PC is supposed to have a 1050w psu(primary) and it does have a 650w Thermaltake Toughpower 650w video card psu and a Reservoir/water pump in the drive bays. The 3 damaged wires are a 3.3v(Orange) and two 12v(Yellow) wires, specifically it is the pins and the connector that is broken, I've asked Performance PCs if they can do the repairs in an email, so far I've not heard back from them on this. I asked cause I don't feel that I'm able to do the work. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Woohoo! I just got word back from Performance PCs that they can fix My 1050w psu cable for $10 plus shipping back to Me, this will have to wait until June 2015, since that's as soon as possible for Me now. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

The PC with the HAF-X case needs some mods done to the case before the PC can be operational, which means I need a cordless drill, a rotary saw blade for metal for My dremel, tape for the dremel(to cure the vibration it has), a template for screw locations and holes for an Alphacool Monsta 280x140x86mm radiator, so this is a long term project, it's that or have Performance PCs do the work for a fee later in the year maybe. There is a Coolgate 360x120x60mm radiator in the top now, there will also be an Alphacool 120x120x86mm radiator in the back, this PC has one EVGA GTX590 Classified card installed, but not cleaned of gunk yet, there is an Asus GTX590 that needs to have its Koolance water block installed and cleaned out, plus I need to buy two more GTX590 cards. Not a lot really, it's the minutia that's a lot, of hassle... The fitting and tubing... Yep you read that right, 4 GTX590 cards, in one case.. This PC will be named Pegasus.. Ok I just read up on the dimensions of the HAF-X case, Length(or Depth) : 550mm Monsta 280mm Rad : 324mm Enermax 1050w psu: 190mm EVGA G2 1050w psu: 170mm 324+190=514mm+36mm(Extra space)=550mm-25mm(plastic case front) = 11mm of space. Too little room with this combo. 324+170=494mm+56mm(Extra space)=550mm-25mm(plastic case front) = 31mm of space. Better, but not by much. Ok switch to a shorter and narrower radiator, the 240x120x86mm Monsta from Alphacool, which is 280mm in actual Length(or Depth) or 280x124x86mm in size. The Alphacool 280mm Monsta is 324x144x86mm in size. 280+170=450mm+100mm(or 4" of Extra space)=550mm-25mm(plastic case front) = 75mm of space. Much better, this should work, but no guarantee, I'll have to buy a radiator and a G2 psu after July sometime to see if this will or not fit, not to mention a Cordless Drill and charger, just so I can drill out a few nasty rivets, since I still need room for the front 200x200x25mm case fan I'll put down some painters tape as a demarcation line(the limit for a Radiator, nah I'll use the measuring tape after installing the G2 psu and see if there is room left for a 240 Rad, since the lower drive bay already marks the limit of available interior space, if there is 37-50mm(1.5"-2") of room left between the psu and the radiator length, I'll proceed to get the drill and the radiator, if not, looks like this HAF-X case will go back in storage, then a 2nd Azza GT1 case will be needed. The Enermax 1050w will work fine in the Prometheus, the 3rd PC, I'm hoping to get an Azza GT1 case in July. Complicated isn't it? Ok I have some news and a thought, at least while I have the energy to do so.. I won three Windows 7 Pro x64 full retail DVD's w/keys on ebay for $64.99 each w/FREE shipping, plus I bought a Netgear WNDR3400 V2 router that has IPv6 and gigabit capability. I'm sorry I don't have My own pics, but these will have to stand in for those pics. When I'm able to get the DVD drive, maybe in May, I'll post more in this thread. Ok I've bought some stuff.. An NZXT Switch 810 case.. In Matte Black. For the EVGA P55 FTW that I'm bidding on. Black is so hard to find in this case now, My next one of these will most likely be WHITE, eww yuck, finger print and dust central, unless I get lucky and find one in Gun Metal. :) A Corsair TX950W 950w psu, for My Quad GTX590 Monster.. There was going to be an Azza GT1 case, but a snafu with a picky sellers computer system that didn't like My address, means that case is delayed some. This came in the mail today, this is so My 650w Tt video card psu can know when to power up, this is for the HAF-X PC(Pegasus). This is an Add2psu card, it has some adhesive foam tape on the back. There is an Asus DVD-RW burner on the way too, I've decided not to get another case or part for a bit or least nothing major, the EVGA P55 FTW motherboard will be the last I think, since I'll only have near $200 left in My Paypal Credit line. There are also a few other items that are on the way, but none are computer related, outside of maybe a TV lamp or two or.. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Ok I got some more parts in yesterday, more are on the way.. 2-PCIE Y cables for My replacement PC in the Azza 9000B case, each is 6" long. Some Koolance Thermal Pads, 1.0mm thick, these are for the GTX590 cards, I don't know how far 3 will go, so I'll see on this. The Corsair 950w psu for the HAF-X installation, a TX950W. With 78A on the 12v rail and a depth of 160mm. I stored the psu in the shipping box until it can go in the case, to keep Kitty Teeth from byteing the cable ends.. The Asus DVD burner is in and installed in My old case, hence the close up, since the case is dusty, I'm waiting for some cooling of My house to happen before I start the transfer of the hdd, dvd drive, ram and two cables to the new PC, the last two video cards will be waiting for an NZXT X31 radiator and for the current radiator for the Zotac Infinity GTX580 video card to be cleaned of dust and get two custom air filters made for the AZZA 9000B type case. Since the air in here can get quite warm, like 96F inside, while the air is 92F or so outside. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Ok the NZXT Switch 810 in Matte Black arrived by USPS, I had to have this put in the back seat, since I was running out of breath, a nice stranger put this in the back seat(I didn't ask, the guy simply said here let Me, I didn't object, after that I said thank you), since the box won't fit in the trunk, the cd changer is in the way. This will have the EVGA P55 FTW motherboard inside this case. You'll notice this cases box is almost as big as the AZZA 9000B's case is. Next case I get I'm hoping the case can be delivered by UPS Ground to My door. Getting the case out was fairly easy, one of these days I need to get some wider steps to the front door, like what I have on the back door..
