When Walt Disney researchers investigated Santa's real workings for his groundbreaking documentary about Santa's workshop, "Santa's Workshop" from 1939, it emerged that Nisse, Santa's worker who was responsible for chess boards and coating, used a much more radical approach: checkerboard color. |
