Actually π = 3.14159265359.....................

Archimedes interest in pi is immortalized in the phrase "Do not disturb my circles" (n oli tangere Circulos Meos), which he should have said when he drew shapes in the sand, punctuated by invading Romans. The most established way to celebrate Pi day is to eat pie, because the Greek letter pi pronounced in English the word in the same way as the English word for pie.

On Saturday, however, the year 2015 to more decimal places can be checked off: 3:14:15. If we then add time arrives something that can only be described as a magical pi seconds: at 9:26:53. When is the first ten digits of pi in perfect order: 3.141592653. Not only that.

Statistician, Jeffrey S Rosenthal at the University of Toronto recently noticed that in an infinite moment - how such now exist - that falls between the hours 9.26.53.58979 and 9.26.53.5898 on Saturday will be a series of digits, the infinitely many decimal places of pi line up.

Stop and think about it for a while. The next chance to enjoy this infinitely short and numerology and perfected moment will not come until 2115. For the impatient can also be celebrated July 22 - Archimedes defined a circle's circumference to diameter ratio as 7.22.

Happy Pi Day. To celebrate the fact that Saturday's date – 3/14/15 – is also the first five digits of the mathematical constant Pi, the number crunching gnomes at Autotrader sought out areas where the mathematical constant and the world of car-buying intersect.

Café 210, which hosts Saturday Cup of Jazz, has added Quiche to the breakfast menu. Today's flavours were Veggie (mushroom, onion, spinach) and Bacon (Veggie plus crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese), which I had. Since Quiche is just an omelet in a pie crust shell, it seemed more than fitting to celebrate Pi Day.

Never read that book, but reject the premise entirely.

Gee Janne, does this mean I am not a real man?

I don't know but you know the old saying "You are what you eat"
But hearing that I get even more confused.
An egg perhaps since a quiche contains eggs:)
