Called them again. First time, they said it might take an hour for the new email address to come through. Now they say 3-4 days. She sent me another password reset to the old one, but it's still not coming through either.

Ping!

Winning after putting together another rig. But they sent me the wrong CPU fan. So I have to wait to try it.

Late afternoon win.
Got my Core2Duo/Vista box back from the shop after a tune-up and memory upgrade.
4 PCs and the iBook G4 online now.
RAC pushing 3K, should hit 1M credits by Monday.
Gonna be interesting what they'll do to my power bill this summer.....

This PC is getting really slow and aggravating... Even on Seti@Home...

I'm almost ready too, but I still not quite sure that I have enough fan connections and I'm using on the new motherboard all the fan connection locations, hopefully I have enough left, for what I have installed now.

I have 4 120mm fans(not connected to power yet), the cpu and PNY 580(with 3 connections).

It's frustrating to do almost anything here now....

Sorry to hear Vic:(

Thanks Julie. My browser was stuck in slow mode, almost nothing worked, not until I got the browser down to 61 windows open, from abut 134 or so. Then I shut the browser down and brought it back to life and so far so good. Scrolling is back and pages load properly, what was going on? I've no idea.

I also thought I lost a screw, spring and washer in My new PC today(along with My mind, I know), yep, this happened just before I got the water block for the new PC mounted(see pic), I had only heatsink compound on the cpu, I tore the PC apart, turns out the 3 were on a shelf, 4' to 6' from the new PC, so I put everything back together, minus the needed washer, turns out the washer is a retention type and so 1 out of 4 corners has no washer, that washer won't be missed any. I still need to hook up the electrical cables for the video cards and for the fans that I can connect currently, but I'm getting there. And I inverted the psu to prevent any screws from getting inside and the cables look a bit neater this way.

Grace was inspecting the work of Dr Frankenstein and His assistant Igor, She's mum on what she thinks of this Monster. ;)

No email back from Thermaltake on the leaky(drip, drip, drip) Water 2.0 Pro cpu water cooler, this cooler leaks at the cpu water block, I'd left on the shelf since I'd bought it, I didn't get anything near the cpu end when cleaning, since it may be 8 years old, the cooler might be in need of a few new parts, I'll have to see if Thermaltake will fix it or not. So on that I wait. And I almost had a 4th working water cooled card.

Turns out I am still having some problems in scrolling, the scrolling jerks about the page the browser is on. Loading a pdf or a website is really slow still.

On Thorsday I think I'll see about adding as much of the power cables to the New PC as I can, to connect what I can, since I'm short of power connections. Though the psu, has lots of capacity, the psu has no capacity for the 3 pin fan headers, that are typical of fans. I've got 7 on the motherboard that except for the cpu fan header and another fan header near the top and 2 at the bottom that are being used by the GTX570, the other 3 are out of reach of most fans, I'm hoping the next two GTX580 video cards will be able to use these last 3 motherboard fan headers.

Thanks Lynn and I'm going to say good night all too.

On April 1st I'll be ordering about $80.52 in parts for the PC, though a $33.92 extension power cable will just have to wait a month. I'm just hoping this PC will last until about April 10th or so, I've reduced the crunching My gpu does down to 1 from 3 and the cpu to 1 from 2.
