Oh and by the way Mr 297902, I have had you on filter for 2 years, I pretty much know who you really are, and you are nowhere near Uruguay either. Off the meds again are we? It says 1100+ posts but only 500 are now viewable. That is a interesting rate of posts going away. |

No doubt people like you will be delighted at this breaking news CISTA (Cannabis Is Safer Than Alcohol). Sounds reasonable to me, if not to the user, then to those around them. It doesn't make sense that gangs of roving alcoholics rampaging round our city centres is fine and legal, but sitting in a student dorm giggling at reruns of The Magic Roundabout is harmful and illegal. I know which one does more harm to society. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

Now that, sad to say, I agree with. |

Time was when students did something useful like putting cars on rooftops, instead of tomb-stoning off bridges and getting killed. Well some like earning big bonuses & others like collecting awards, the dumb collect the "Darwins". |

Update from the front lines. 2/9/2015 DENVER (AP) — Colorado's marijuana experiment was designed to raise revenue for the state and its schools, but a state law may put some of the tax money directly into residents' pockets, causing quite a headache for lawmakers. The state constitution limits how much tax money the state can take in before it has to give some back. That means Coloradans may each get their own cut of the $50 million in recreational pot taxes collected in the first year of legal weed. It's a situation so bizarre that it's gotten Republicans and Democrats, for once, to agree on a tax issue. Even some pot shoppers are surprised Colorado may not keep the taxes that were promised to go toward school construction when voters legalized marijuana in 2012. More at: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/04/colorado-pot-taxes-back-to-residents_n_6612292.html Another example of government greed without forethought. It would be hilarious except for the stupidity of those in power ...& "borrowed" from Peter Hitchens... "I found out a few months ago that Nick Clegg is astonishingly ignorant about the drug laws in this country. He really believes that the police cruelly persecute drug users (if only they did). Ignorance of this kind is wilful. The truth is readily available. He remains ignorant because he does not want to know. Why? As evidence piles up that cannabis is a dangerous drug, those like Mr Clegg and the businessman Richard Branson should be incessantly asked what their interest is in backing the risky cause of decriminalisation. It is certainly not in the interest of the young people of this country." |

If this considered as off topic, happy to have it red x'd and hidden. The video claims to explain it in 45 seconds, once the visual abstraction filler is removed it's more like 6 seconds. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

A "Little Man" fights back...& wins! "Mr Bailes said: 'I'm sure First Bus don't like the fact that the little man took them on and beat them and that they've been shown up at a tribunal. A study by the Forensic Science Service in 2010 found that almost every British bank note in circulation is likely to contain traces of cocaine. Contamination is believed to occur within weeks of notes entering general circulation. Notes are either contaminated by coming into contact with someone who has used cocaine, or other bank notes that contain traces. Experts said notes are no longer routinely tested to identify drug users and dealers because most contain background traces of cocaine. The number of notes detected is said to be an indicator of the prevalence of cocaine use in the UK. Scientists found one in 20 notes gave very high readings for cocaine, showing they were likely to have been handled by dealers. A study by Mass Spec Analytical (MSA), based in Bristol, tested 500 banknotes in circulation in London and found just four did not contain traces of cocaine. Banknotes are more likely to be contaminated with cocaine rather than heroin or ecstasy which degrade more rapidly. Traces of cocaine use in the UK is now believed to be so widespread it is found in the water supply, tests by the Drinking Water Inspectorate found last year." |

If this considered as off topic, happy to have it red x'd and hidden. What are you saying Chris pot leads to heaver more dangerous drugs like "Meth" "ICE" or "CRACK" ?? I beg to differ on that one greatly , it's more like pressure , poverty, or abuse that leads to serious addictions and yuppie ness !! "so and so does it so it's cool to partake once in a while" , which leads to a addiction . You can put Cocaine in that category the rich mans crack and thank them for importing it |

In his book Broca’s Brain - Publisher: Atlantic Monthly, 1979 - Sagan wrote an article called “Amniotic Universe†in which he shows a familiarity with the effects of LSD, DMT, ketamine, MDA as he reviews Stanislav Grof’s thorough and revolutionary research over LSD and its effects on the consciousness. It has also been found that Sagan had written an abundance of unpublished papers over his thoughts on the use of marijuana, drug policy, and the war on drugs. He felt that the war on drugs was an enormous waste of time and resources and that instead of obstructing people’s personal freedom, we ought to be focusing on the exploration and understanding of our universe, regulated animal rights, and stopping nuclear weapon testing. Carl Sagan was a very inspirational icon in the field of physics and had a remarkable way of communicating scientific advancements with those who were unfamiliar with the discipline. He managed to bring a certain level of popularity and interest to the sciences never before seen. rOZZ Music Pictures |

we ought to be focusing on the exploration and understanding of our universe, regulated animal rights, and stopping nuclear weapon testing. A lot of famous people, scientists too, have experimented with hallucinogens and became wiser because of it, on a spiritual level, that is. rOZZ Music Pictures |

Spiritual level? Friendly? Really? No, this is. I've reached such a high level of spirituality due to the accident in the above link, I learned to live with it, tough at times. Due to that I cannot eat properly anymore, I think it is a form of sin, sounds ridiculous, I know but I used to be like that before the accident too, more slightly, that is. A friend once told me I should've become a nun back in the days I was a squatter:))) To be able to distinct good from evil that way makes you attract the right people as well, that's a big plus I think. Spiritual level? Friendly? Really? That is shocking. However by linking that to my link which showed what the use of drugs leads to... ...are you saying that was the same issue with you? |
