Obama is sending Congress $4T budget replete with new spending, taxes.....

He just won't listen to the American voters. Jesus, what does it take for this idiot to respond??????
I am afraid he is going to bury us so deep, it may be impossible to recover.

And I am just as afraid that I don't see any up and coming candidate that has me really enthused about in my own camp.

Seriously. Things are not looking good for the good ol' USA.

And, no, this is not just some silly arse rhetoric on my part.
This is a real concern I have.
I don't have any children, so any worry about what the next gen is going to have to deal with are not mine.
Those of you who DO have kids should be more concerned than even I am.

And since he can't stand for re-election next year, what does he care?

Also, i'm not entirely sure what the complaint is...

The slimmest of margins.
Almost half the nation wanted him out.
The republican party won big time.
And he still won't listen.
He does not care one iota, and has not changed his stance a bit.
He is going to carry on his own personal agenda in spite of the clear wishes of the American public he is supposed to represent.

Or could it be you haven't explained exactly what your grievance is?

I had a girlfriend who once said to me.
"If you don't know what you've done, there's no point me explaining it!"
I think the relationship lasted about two hours from that point.

I do believe I have stated my grievance with the administration.

You have any question about my beef?
Ask me. And cut to the point, if you can.
I hate Obama...and all his arrogance. Is that clear enough?
He is an arrogant, disrespectable, shadow of what our president should be.
He has no respect for either the American public or the freaking constitution, and feels that he can force his own personal agenda on every tax paying soul in the nation, regardless of the law of the land. He is rewriting the law every day in his own favor, and damn the consequences. He just does not care about any long term effects.
He is a self serving, short sighted little man who cares nothing about what he does means long term or for this country.

Is that clear enough?

I don't think you understand the concept of a 'leader'. A leader is not supposed to exclusively respond to the wishes of 'the people' (which only represent about 25-33% of the country anyways thanks to abysmal voter turn out), it his job to lead. Now if he is a nice leader, he may take your wishes into account, but he is by no means obligated to do so if he feels its in the best interests of everyone to do something else.

And it doesn't help your whining one bit if you take into account that America isn't doing all that bad economically at the moment. At least, all economic indicators are showing growth. So your 'fear' that he is going to put the US in a hole it can't recover from is just patently false.

Do get your facts right
President Obama’s popular margin of victory is bigger than both of George W. Bush’s election wins in 2000 and 2004.
Your dislike for Democrats and Obama doesn't trump the facts.

Definitely not FOX spin. Being Canadian, I don't depend on US news agencies to give me the 'Facts'.

As of now, President Obama’s popular margin of victory is bigger than both of George W. Bush’s election wins in 2000 and 2004.

According to the numbers compiled by David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report, President Obama now leads Mitt Romney 50.81%-47.48% in the popular vote. President Obama’s popular vote margin is now bigger than both of the last two successful Republican presidential elections.

Aurora Borealis:

Why not get YOUR 'facts' right instead of using spin?

2000: Bush 271 / Gore 266
2004: Bush 286 / Kerry 251
2008: Obama 365 / McCain 173
2012: Obama 332 / Romney 206

THESE are the OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS.

The 'popular vote totals' that article quotes are TOTALLY and UTTERLY meaningless. The 'People' do NOT elect the President of the US. The STATE Governments do per the US Constitution. There IS NO 'national popular vote' for President. Any News Media reference to a 'national popular vote total' is, by definition, spin.

That said, I do agree that that news article was correct in that Obama had a bigger margin of victory BOTH time than Bush had EITHER time.

Also, I think that msattler was really refering to the 2014 'midterm' election, at least that is the way I read it. And perhaps he should have said 'wanted the Democrats out' instead of 'wanted him out'. The Democrats lost BIG. They had already lost control of the US House of Representatives in the 2010 midterm.
In the 2014 midterm, they lost even more ground in the House and lost their majority in (and control of) the US Senate.

As long as the President plays nice and obeys the US Constitution (and there is some reason to believe Obama hasn't totally done so thus far, and likely won't do so in his remaining tenure in Office), the President is really kinda unimportant in US politics. He or She is really somewhat of a figurehead cheerleader. The REAL political power in the USA is in both Houses of Congress and over in the US Supreme Court.

Mark, I wouldn't worry about it to much because the constitution clearly states the power of the purse is in the House, What Obama is sending to congress is no more than a suggestion that the house can follow or ignore. I think the house has already got the message that if they pass Obama's budget they will be looking for a job in about 2 years. Obama may not like the budget he gets and the budget that is passed may not be what we would like to see but on this point, Obama is going to have to give unless he wants to shut down the government.

OMG WE'RE ALL DOOMED! IT'S GONNA BE ARMAGEDDON!

Dr. Peter Venkman: This [country] is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.

[President]: What do you mean, "biblical"?

Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. [President], real wrath of God type stuff.

Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly.

Dr Ray Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!

Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...

Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave!

Dr. Peter Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

It was supposed to keep us from being stupid by giving us a check on our wisdom but the electors are not free to use their own judgment most of the time.

So true. Perhaps we need to elect them before the candidates are allowed to announce?

The REAL political power in the USA is

the Koch Brothers, the guys that created The Tea Party around 1992.
