Been doing some number math. Raccoon Lovers are a solid 6th place in the challenge. If SETIKAH@KOREA does not make any sudden moves. We are slowly and steadily making traction on them.

I got My rent bill in today, $316.25 total for June, of this $41.75 is for electricity usage, this is less than what My May bill would have been if everyone here in the park had not gotten the biannual AB32 rebate on electricity, this time last month it was $29.00, the time before in 2014 there were two $40.00 credits, so My May bill would have been $321.43, instead of $292.43, so since I'd been using the A/C almost since the 1st of May, I'm doing pretty good in this area, unlike what some where I live predicted, My work is paying off.

I know. My GF is a victim to perhaps bad surgery.
And she eats very healthy food. No sugar and not much fat.
But that is a very small minority.

Makes me wonder. Are there any wild animals that dies of obesity?

Hmmmmmmm... I think that I have a picture or two of Eric holding our youngest niece that could also be entitled "A cute baby and a cute sloth."

My East Dallas backyard: The local raccoon latrine of choice

My sweet Hollywood Heights backyard has morphed into a raccoon latrine. Here’s hoping this gallows-humor blog post will serve as a PSA for you – before your homestead becomes a disease-carrying hazmat site. Warning: Some of the details here are stomach-turning, but trust me, better to endure the queasiness and avoid your lawn too becoming a wildlife litter box.

...

My research also turned up the delightful knowledge that raccoon poop is among the most toxic and disease-ridden among the common varmints we deal with in urban America. Let’s just leave it at this: Scooping raccoon poop is not as easy – or as safe – as dog crap. And don’t even get me started on the smell as it sits in one’s trash can.

On Sunday morning three people I knew were swept away in their minivan
when they tried to cross a bridge over the Leon river. There was water
over the bridge, but they must have thought they could make it. They
didn't. Their bodies remained in the minivan in the river until today,
when the water subsided enough to expose the top of the vehicle.
Ironically, they were on their way to church.

I'm posting here because I know some of you are very generous, and I'm
asking for help to pay their final expenses. Three funerals are going
to be very costly. Someone (not I) has set up a donation page. If you're
willing and able, please make a donation. Here's the link:

http://www.gofundme.com/vz6zzw?pc=14_tw_2

Here's a link to one of the news reports:

http://www.kcentv.com/story/29230128/three-bodies-pulled-from-submerged-minivan-in-coryell-county

Thank you. And please, never try to cross a flooded road no matter how
confident you feel that you can make it.
