I'm still not understanding how any of that justifies beating up and scaring children and waving guns at them.I'm not justifying or trying to justify, that is up to the court. I'm saying there was a lot going on, both actually and in the mind of the police officer. Please remember, there has been a kill order put out on all law enforcement in the USA. As far as I can see, absolutely nothing. But, we're just unthinking ideologues. White and nerdy. |

By ISIS, no? If so, not the same as "racial agitators", no? Louis Farrakhan has repeatedly called for killing white police as have rap artists for several decades. Louis Farrakhan December 14 2014: "We gonna die. Let’s die for something,†he told the audience. “See, now when my Muslim family here, Imams and my Christian family – in this book, there is a law for retaliation. The Bible says an eye, a tooth, a life. See now, as long as they kill us, and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they gonna keep killing us. But when we die and they die, then soon we gonna sit down at a table and talk about – we tired. We want some of this earth. We tear this God damn country up.†ISIS or Agitator? "What difference at this point does it make?" Texas biker gangs threaten police with retaliation May 19, 2015, 7:02 AM|Police are on high alert across the state because of a warning that outlaw biker gangs may target them following Sunday's deadly shootout. Nearly 200 suspects were arrested, and each is being held on a $1 million bail. Vicente Arenas reports from Waco, Texas. ISIS Jihad on Harleys? Yes ISIS, but when you wear the blue uniform you are a target of many non-ISIS groups. The killing of two police officers in NYC as they sat in their car having lunch was not ISIS. The two officers slaughtered in Mississippi(one a black rookie, black lives apparently don't matter if wearing a blue uniform), were not killed by ISIS. The two State Policemen in Pennsylvania ambushed(one died) was not committed by ISIS. The point being these men and women face death on a daily basis, the pressure is enormous. The attorney for Officer Casebolt has just stated he was called to the pool party after having just been on the scene of two suicides, one a black man who blew his brains out in front of his wife, children, and other parents and their children. He admits he was emotionally distraught and lost control. He's human. No one was shot, no one died, he has resigned and now has no career. The only thing left is the pound of flesh, so carve away agitators. I'm sure Al will make his appearance soon to reap the spotlight. What has this got to do with children? It was 'children'(middle and high school age) showing their respect for authority in Baltimore by throwing concrete, bricks, bottles and canned goods then looting and burning the homes and businesses of their OWN COMMUNITY. Children should be treated like children when they act like children. How do you treat them when they are threatening you with violence and death? That's a question we will all face in the years to come. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

A high school headteacher has been slammed for banning students from waving Swedish or other international flags and singing Zlatan Ibrahimovic's alternative national anthem, just in case their "multicultural" efforts instead promoted xenophobia. http://www.thelocal.se/20150610/multicultural-flag-ban-at-student-graduation Zlatan Ibrahimovic's version of Sweden's national anthem "Du Gamla, Du Fria" https://youtu.be/cbvdzQ7uVPc Talk about ignorance and stupidity... |

At least Texas cops hassle white kids too ... http://abc7.com/news/texas-police-shut-down-girls-lemonade-stand-demand-permit/776671/ |

At least Texas cops hassle white kids too ... For heavens sake... They had been selling lemonade and kettle corn for an hour - and made about $25 - when officers showed up and told them they need a $150 permit to sell their lemonade. Do police officers in the US have the time to do this "investigation"? Here if you complain to the police for example some hit and run stories they say "So what. What do you expect us to do?". |

..and were these children at the pool party? Children should be treated like children when they act like children. How do you treat them when they are threatening you with violence and death? That's a question we will all face in the years to come. lol, its a question every generation freaks out about. I'll tell you what I did last time an angry 15/16 year old boy got up in my face and threatened me. I stood there and calmly told him to go and ahead and see where it gets him. Perhaps the cop should have tried that?... because its worked for me on many occasions. The secret is to stay calm and not escalate. Especially with teenagers. Reality Internet Personality |

And had you just finished comforting a family who had just seen it's husband and father take his own life in an extremely violent way? Different situation. Again, what he did was wrong, nobody argues that point including Officer Casebolt. You are to be applauded for your restraint and common sense. I still feel he felt threatened by the two rather large young men who circled behind him and reacted rather than thought about it. lol, its a question every generation freaks out about. 'Every generation' hasn't encountered 'children' who have been plopped in front of a TV or Video Game or Computer where the glory of violent solutions to every perceived problem or slight are promoted as acceptable. Hollywood, the Music Industry, the Video game industry and Television have bombard children with this warped vision of reality thousands of times a week. In another context this would be considered brain washing. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Hmm Cops are not trained to deal with "teenagers". Teachers are. "The secret is to stay calm and not escalate". Very easy to say. I Think most teachers have to remember their own experiances from the school yard. I remember... |

Cops here are trained to deal with teenagers and they really should be. @Clyde. Of course I am an authority figure. Those kids that are out looting and burning come to me the next day and I have to get them to behave and learn stuff. Without guns. Reality Internet Personality |

Have been both Teacher, and Uniform Officer. Would that be because of the persons who came before sullying and tarnishing the image of the badge? Would it be because of Protective Leagues with their gang attitude and the damage to reputations they cause? Would it be because one assists people and one holds people back? Would the respect given one is because they have a firearm and can pump you full of holes but the respect given the other is from the good they do? Ah, there is the rub. One does good, the other is a bully. You are in a unique position to see that is isn't authority that causes the difference, but the use of authority that does and how that influences the perception of the individuals that have authority, if they use it for good or as a bludgeon. Society is getting sick and tired of bullies and policing is going to have to change because of that. Some will resist change as some resisted desegregation. |

Kind of what I do now. Totally different to teaching teenagers of all ages in inner city schools who don't want to be there. My job now is totally different. Also, by 16 some of them are starting to settle down, or have quit school altogether. It was my Year 7s (age 11-12) that used to show me their knife scars from fights they'd been in. Having taught in adult ed and in inner secondary schools, I can tell you, there is simply no comparison. Reality Internet Personality |
